For those of you who have not heard:

Translation: we're moving.

Our family is in the process of buying a house, and unless we discover something horribly amiss with said house, we will be moving out by the end of June. Also, my self-inflicted summer school starts on Monday, which means that my life will be extra crazy. I'm not sure how I'm going to handle packing a house and taking four classes, but I'll manage. Hopefully.

All that's to say that I don't know how much I'll be on for the next month or two. I'll be keeping up with my moderatorial duties and hopefully dropping into chat on Sundays. Maybe. We'll see.

My goodness, things seem to have gotten unexpected insane for you and your family! I hope everything goes well in the end. I can still keep an eye out in GD for you. ;)

Hehe...you'll have to wait on the glitter, Kaitianna, 'cause we ran into a problem.

Turns out that some of the information in the house's listing was wrong. If we had known this information from the beginning, we probably wouldn't have considered the house. The biggest problem was CC&Rs restricting us from keeping any livestock other than horses on the property. (That means no goats! :shock:) So, we ain't getting that house. Back to the drawing board! :D

So as some of you know, my family is still looking for a house. We've found one, actually, and we're waiting to see if this offer will go through. I don't think that packing a school will take too much time, so hopefully you will still see me around. :)

We have an offer submitted on a house and if the owners go for it, we will proceed with that property. Otherwise, Mom and Dad have their eyes on another, smaller house that would be an "interim" house. (Buy it, then rent it out later once we find a bigger house with acreage.)

Yep! It's on a bit over four acres. There are two pastures, one of which is fenced perfectly for goats. :D

Well folks, we're getting the house. :D Some of you already know this, though Emmy reminded me to post an update here. Even though my school schedule is going a bit crazy starting Tuesday, I don't foresee my time on HW being effected much. :) So, I will be locking this thread soon.
