Do you have a better choice of adjectives and expressive vocal sounds I could use, oh great and wise council member? ;)

Well aren’t those the loveliest little fur ball specimens you ever saw?!?!

Was that better, Brendan? ;)

The second one is my absolute favorite, by the way. :D

They are very cute. When I grow up I want to train dogs for a living. I would like to get some Border Collies and do competitions like Flyball and agility with them. :D

Awww . . . *Falls in love with the Irish setter*

I love setters. :D

Anyway, I can tell how well they were groomed! They looked great! Have you ever groomed a dog for a show?

I show my dog, and even though she's relatively easy to take care of, I'm surprised at what it takes to get her all fixed up. (Also, her constant wiggling doesn't help, but that's a detail) After working with her, I have a high respect for professional groomers. :D

What a gentleman. He's such a cutie . . .

Thank you! :D I haven't done a show yet but I am hoping to enter one for October. :)

It must be fun showing! One of our dogs has 13 champions in her line so I am hoping to use her.

I am glad you all are having fun looking at them. :dieshappy:

I would let you groom my dog any day!! Too bad I don't think I live near you (or anyone else on here for that matter) would you have any suggestions on what I could do with this Mutt?? (Which would be my precious baby.) My Mom wants me to shave her down  but I really don't want to do that and her hair is kinda *e-hem* unruly.

She looks very sweet, Ana! I would give her a mixture involving a Westie clip. With cross breeds, you mix the trims to fit what they look like. :) I'd give her a short body clip but leave her legs longer, scissor them to look okay with her body but not too short. Leave her face longer, give it a scruffy round look with a small beard and moustache; trim around the edge of her ears but leave them longer as well; all in all I'd leave her face quite long. :dieshappy: Trim round the bottom of her feet but don't cut into the foot, it should sit nicely on the floor. Here's a picture off Google Images for a Westie: Westie Picture Follow those lines sort of, you have to mix it as she's a cross breed. So you would leave her ears longer than a Westie and don't make her face as round etc. I hope this helps! :dieshappy:

EDIT: Don't forget to brush the coat through first and get rid of any knots, if you wash first the knots clog up with the water and you will end up having to trim them out, and it leaves holes. (If you're bothered) :dieshappy:

That was a very thorough and professional-sounding overview for grooming a specific type of dog. It was interesting to read. :D
