Post subject:  Bonjour....
So I was going to title this "Hey ya'll!", but that is, unfortunately taken :shock: . Joking.

I am a very new fantasy writer... my fantasy isn't extreme either... yet. I am only just beginning. I have been writing for years, though. Hopefully I have improved.

Some of you may know me as Kay Morris on the Rebelution, or Kaitland C on The Uncommon. Someone here even knows me in real life! :D

I am obviously a girl, but I am also the oldest of eight, live on a nice piece of property that (except on some occasions) allows me to greatly enjoy the great outdoors. I love my siblings, love to write, love my parents, and I love to read. I like photography and horses, too. Though, sadly, I do not have the oppertunity to ride. :(

I hope to really benefit from this forum. I hope to gain more knowledge and advice on how to write a "real" fantasy fiction story... and I hope to make friends.

Ooh... and did I mention that I love little kids and mission work??? Yeah... I do. :D

Why, thank you!

After spending quite a few hours this morning and a good bit of time last night, too, I have come to the humble conclusion that this forum is definately, with out a single doubt, the most awesome forum I have EVER been on! I really look forward to posting more. As of right now... I have to go do some things.

I am very grateful for that bit of encouragement. Thank you. If you have any feedback on how to make it even better, I would be glad to hear it. I also hope that you will still think highly of us after a few months membership. :)

Horses are very much fun!!! I used to take lessons when I was little... say, six years old.

I had a near accident, though, and I never rode a horse again without someone leading it. Now I really wish I could ride again....

One of my friends has a couple of horses, and I ride them with her sometimes. She broke her collarbone a couple years ago, so she couldn't ride then, then she finally figured out what was wrong with her shoulder and had surgery on it. I think she can ride now, but it's too cold right now.

I still can't go very fast on a horse. I haven't had much practice, so trotting is about as fast as it gets for me right now. I've had one actual lesson, and after that I just rode her horses.

I LOVE horses! And I love, love LOVE going really, really fast on them.:D Unfortunately, I don't often get the chance to do that, and it makes my Mummy nervous.:(

My mom says she just tells herself I'm going very slowly :P
She still tells me to wear a helmet, although I'm not sure how much good that would do :P

It was kind of scary how much your post sounded like my life! I love photography, horses, reading, writing, kids, and mission work! ;)

Welcome, Lady Shanai Irisis! I love your name, by the way.

I am thrilled to find yet another horse lover on here. In NC, where I used to live, our neighbors let us ride their horses. I loved riding at a canter, gallop is even better (although it's sort of scary, something else is almost in control of you!). Some of my best story inspirations came on horseback.

I suppose I don't need to tell you how awesome this site is . . .
But anyway, welcome on! Glad to have you here!

Welcome, Kay aka Lady Shanai-Irisis! We are glad to have you here! I am sorry I didn't get around to welcome you sooner... as you saw in my post, "poof!", I have been quite busy lately. :) But, at any rate, it is nice to have you on here. And you sound quite similar to myself, except that I only have 6 younger siblings. :) It would be fun to meet you sometime! Hopefully the Bright Lights picnic works out. :)
