My family and I are going on vacation for around a week, and I don’t know how much access I’ll have to a computer. Hopefully I’ll be able to get on HW at least a little bit to keep from missing y’all and the forum too much. :)

Prayers would be appreciated since my health issues can make it difficult to travel, and they are acting up far worse than usual. :P

Post subject:  Re: Vacation

I'm glad to be back. Incidentally, I had a run in with a snake... of the non-venomous variety. I caught a big rat snake with the help of a broom handle. :D

Post subject:  Re: Vacation

 Awesome!! Didja take it home? Did you see it eat any rats?

Author:  Aragorn [ April 26th, 2011, 7:29 pm ]
Post subject:  Re: Vacation

I let it go. I didn't see it eat any rats, though that would have been cool to see. :D

Post subject:  Re: Vacation

It would have been. I saw a picture in a forwarded email once of an anaconda eating a deer. That was pretty cool.

Post subject:  Re: Vacation

A rat snake would be like a miniature version of that. :D

Yay; you're back! I'm so glad you were able to enjoy yourself. How big was that snake? Did it try to bite you?

Author:  Aragorn [ April 27th, 2011, 5:17 pm ]
Post subject:  Re: Vacation

Thanks, Aemi and Lady Elanor. :D

No spiders, Lady Elanor. Just a snake. ;)

The snake was around three or so feet long. It may have wanted to bite me, but I had it too firmly pinned for it to do anything when I caught it. It did, however, try to constrict my arm by wrapping around it and squeezing. :D

I don't have a problem expounding, but some members might, so I won't subject unsuspecting members to the description. :D PM me if you really have to hear the story. ;)

It's trying to with its tail. When I held it with one hand, it wrapped itself around my arm several times and squeezed. :D
