I convinced my boss, Katie, to start up a line of pottery decorated with tengwar, etc. <grin>

What we need are ideas for what to write, and where to sell them. Etsy's a good starting place but we need a customer base. (we're pretty sure there aren't enough uber-geeks in town to buy lots of elvish pottery locally. XD)

Anybody have any ideas?

What about...

The Dark Lord wrote:
One Ring to rule them all
One Ring to find them
One Ring to bring them all
And in the darkness bind them

Legolas wrote:
An elven maid there was of old
A shining star by day
Her mantle white was hemmed with gold
Her shoes of silver grey

Strider wrote:
All that is gold does not glitter
Not all those who wander are lost
The old that is strong does not wither
Deep roots are not reached by the frost

Yesh, those are just my three most favourite quotes, but aren't they nice?

You might have a good customer base here... ;)

But would you want them in tengwar or English? <grin>

The first one in English or the Black Speech, the second one in English or Tengwar, and the last in Tengwar for sure - if the whole thing is too long, it splits up well.
