Y'all are so awesome. I've never had somebody other than my concert pianist teacher say my music could be better. :shock: It's sort of scary, really.

When you spend a lot of time at something, you improve anyway, even if you're already really good at it. :) A guitarist I listen to brought an album out of his very best ten years ago. The music was incredible. But compare it with what he is writing today, his music now is even greater.

I think when you are constantly cultivating your talent, you keep on getting better, and when you look back on how you used to play, you see that you have improved in ways you didn't see then. :D

So while your music is :shock: now, you'll get even better! :dieshappy:

Awesome Luke! Your talent is amazing. I listened to 'Lonely Girl'. That's the kind of piece I wish my piano teacher would give me to play *wistfully* How long have you been playing? I'm studying for 7 at the moment in practical... did gr. 5 theory last year and found the melody comosition parts fascinating. But wasn't very good at it. *groans!* Please write it down and sell it so I can buy a copy! ;)

I've been playing for 14 years. Took lessons for the first 12 of those. I've been writing music for eight years. Since I was 11. :D

You want sheet music? Check out www.mindwielders.com, go to the Lone Fir Studios page. I have some compositions written down and there are links to computer generated recordings (really lame, but at least you can hear how it goes.)
