Thomas Bergersen, co-founder of the orchestral group Two Steps From Hell, has pre-released four singles from his coming album "Illusions" and one single, "Heart", on iTunes and Amazon. They are available for mp3 download at 0.99 apiece. Mr. Bergersen has announced that all proceeds from "Heart" will go to Red Cross workers in Japan! Also, all proceeds from the four singles for the next three months will go to Japan as well. It really encouraged me that they took this opportunity to lend a hand to those in need, using their large fan base to promote and raise funds. The more who buy, the more funds for Japan.

Starvation

Ocean Princess

Promise

A Place In Heaven

Heart

Those are awesome songs. :) Only one question. Where'd they get the name 'Two Steps From Hell'?

Two Steps From Hell = Heaven ;)

At least, I think that's how they get the name... *can't remember correctly*

Katie told me that Jay explained it this way... what is the most climatic moment of a book or movie? Often at the darkest hour, or the heat of the final battle, when everything's at stake... when you're two steps from hell. That makes sense and all, but I still think they should have considered the connotations of the word "hell" when they picked their name. :P

Thanks for letting us know about it, Lady E!

I don't know how they got the name, but I still feel uneasy everytime I say it. I currently reference it simply as TSfH. ;)

I have the songs Ocean Princess and Starvation already (I thought they were just floating on the internet). A Place in Heaven is really good, but I haven't heard Promise yet.
I'm considering buying Heart, that one is a beauty, and if all proceeds go to workers in Japan, I'm willing to get it.

Thanks for that update, Eruwaedhiel! :D
