The moment for which statisticians and writers have been patiently waiting has at long last come! Bring out your electric emus, penguins, dragons, doors, and above all, bring forth
GLITTER!
The Glitter queen has now become Holy World's most frequent poster! Congratulations to the HRM organizer, long-posting (though never long-winded), and now officially most active Marcher Lord and Council Member!

While silliness and everyday HW goofiness is permitted, we also ask that you take a moment in your festive response posts to give a word of serious thanks and congratulations to Airianna Valenshia!

Thank you, Airi, for your heart-warming encouragement and friendly welcome when I first joined this site. You are in large part the reason that I became so active so quickly.

Thank you for all you have done for so many of us, as well as the HW community as a whole. Your frequent and thoughtful posts are a big part of that.

* confetti * I brought special confetti glitter this time - I cut it myself from holographic wrapping paper using a heart-shaped punch! I didn't bring a fan, though. Is there one stashed in the closet next to George's bucket of cucumbers?

Oh yes. I brought cupcakes too. But you'll have to wait a sec, I'm almost done frosting them.

Anyway. Airianna, we all knew this day would come and you loathed the thought of it, but truly it is nothing to be ashamed of. Jay will be proud - he wants this forum to succeed and that means passing the reins to active members. Your post count (and related celebrations) is only a small token of the impact you've had on Holy Worlds. You mean a lot to us (especially me, if little elf can be a bit possessive for a moment) and have done (and will do, if our current to-do list is any indication) so much for us as a community.

So keep posting! Long live the Glitter Queen! :D (or something like that)

And Aussie... that is a REALLY awesome banner. :shock:

Okay, I can honestly say that is probably the first time I have used that smilie.

I saw this thread last night before bed and thought "That sounds like a thread I wanna see". So I clicked, and the banner made me literally laugh out loud!

And then a rare thing happened. I was speechless. Yep, I had absolutely nothing to say, so I didn't respond last night.

I appreciate the love that surrounds me here at HW. I love each and every one of you in a different way, and you all have special places in my life. Just ask my brothers, they get to hear about all of you, each of you having specific traits that make you stand out from each other.

I didn't plan on getting as involved here on HW as I did, when I first joined. But I fell in love with this place, and HW sucked me in. I love seeing new things develop here. I love the relationships I am able to build with you all, and I love watching some of you younger members flourishing here.

As you all know, I always have a lot to say. I never dreamed I’d pass Jay in posts, but as many of you have told me in the past, it was inevitable. And I’m okay with that *rolls eyes *. Reiyen, your constant calculations cracked me up. My brothers were keeping tabs on them ;)

But on a more serious side, I am so thankful that the Lord has allowed my words to bless you, instead of letting them fall by the wayside. Investing in all of your HW lives, and your personal ones in particular, is one of the highlights of my day. Thanks for accepting me as I am, deficiencies and all.

Reiyen, I loved the post. Your way of wording things always gets a chuckle out of me, and a smile of admiration.

Aussie, the banner was beautiful. I know it took time to craft, and I am touched that you designed it for me.

Jonathan, loved the title ;) Dragons, Glitter, and a penguin crew, that is my kind of part.

And to everyone else: I love you guys, and I thank the Lord that He has allowed me to act as your sister in Christ, although some of you get to experience the pestering sister side of me ;)

I just realized my electric emu isn't charged. :shock: Of course, I just now learned that I had one, when Reiyen mentioned it, so I guess I'm not surprised it isn't charged...

Thank you for being here for us, Airianna! You've contributed so much to HWs, and I honestly can't remember what the forum was like without your active participation. We love you Airianna! :D

I have no idea what one does with an electric emu (after you charge it, of course). Maybe they're more efficient than regular emus, whatever you use those for.

Maybe they have good fur for spinning... or do they have feathers? I have no idea. The electric ones are synthetic, I'm sure.

Emus have feathers. I would imagine that one would ride an electric emu, or use it to guard a hoard of cupcakes.

There will be no hoarding of cupcakes around here. I brought them and gave them away - I say you can't stash 'em! :evil:

Now riding an electric emu... I could see how that would be better than a regular emu. Lower-maintenance. :D

*walks in late, dragging George by the tail* I told you we'd be late if we stopped at that cucumber festival! Dragons. :roll:

*With a powerful thrust of his wings, the dragon rockets into the air. Higher and higher he flies, trailing glittery sparks from the tips of his wings. Without warning, he twists and tucks his wings, plummeting downwards. Inches above the ground, he spreads his wings and comes to a halt just before swooping up again. He turns a figure eight in the sky, leaving etchings of fire in his wake.

George stops in the air and hovers above the crowd. Slowly, he breathes out a glittery smoke, which wraps itself in tendrils around him. The tendrils snake around each other and weld together, morphing into a fiery globe around the sparking dragon. Golden smoke swirls on the surface of the globe, while tongues of flame snake through the smokey bubble. The entire globe pulses with heat and light.

Suddenly, a stream of fire pierces the smokey shield and cuts through it like a sword through cloth. The curtains of smoke part to reveal the dragon. His scales gleam like stars and each sway of his tail draws a lingering trail of fire in the sky. Curling his glowing wings to his body, he turns in a full spin, shooting upward as he twirls. He spreads his wings once again, stopping high above everyone else, and explodes in a blinding flash of flaming light. Billions of tiny glitter pieces rain down, each piece seeming to pulse like embers.*

Behold George 2.0, with a glitter globe enhancement. :D
