lol My dad thinks that my brother and I are strange because we have lotr movie marathons! And because I've read the books multiple times!
Actually there's a funny story about this-They showed a little clip from lotr at youth group, and I was like jumping up and down because I was so excited! Needless to say, everyone else thought that I was insane! ;)

Somehow I can see you doing that. :D

My dad and siblings have absolutely no interest in it, and Gretchen (my sister-she's 7) teases me and calls me a "big fan" all the time. My mom and I, however, are complete fanatics. Especially because the movies have Orlando Bloom in them . . .*sigh* anyway . . .
My dad has almost no interest in anything fiction. He only reads my stories because I write them. He also thinks we're weird and rolls his eyes when we start talking about LOTR in front of him. Some people just don't understand. ;)

Whenever me and my brother start talking LOTR everyone looks at us like we are from another planet. We've tried the movie marathon thing but it did not work out so well. But I converted my Dad to LOTR my Mother is still anti-middle earth for now.
