I'm told I should make a thread here to introduce myself, so:

Hello everyone! I'm Arien; I just joined today. Um, I'm not good at introducing myself, because I don't know what to say. :blush: Let's see; I like books, which is why I attempt to write sometimes. I don't normally get very far before being distracted, but I attempt to write fantasy at times. Oh, and occasionally science fiction, but that doesn't go as well.

Welcome Arien! We are thrilled to have you join us! Don't worry, everyone around here will beg and plead and give you puppy dog eyes until you write something for them to read. It is very effective and motivational.

You have come to a good group to help encourage you to write, and also to be able to discuss writing and books with. I hope you enjoy yourself.

By the way, make sure you find a shield, you may need it if the jelly bean grenades start going off in your introduction/party thread :)

Welcome to Holy Worlds... my colleagues have already given away the fact that this is by no means a scholarly forum.

I'd advise you to quickly make a distinguished exit from your intro thread, Arien. If you don't, you may be chained to the door like they did to me earlier. And beware of Elanhil's glitter bombs... he'll be sure to drop one any hour now. I intend to stick around just long enough to disarm it... then send Personality B out a window so as to avoid being chained to the door.

As though on a fantasy forum there were only one magic word. Which would you like to hear: abracadabra, cobha, land-law, azuntyyr, aMorgon, etc...?

Welcome to Holy Worlds, Arien! I love your username! I'm a book lover too. ^^ I devour books. Feverishly. Literally. :shock: (Some days I give myself a low grade fever of 99.1. Those are the days I read for 8 hours straight. It's not healthy.) :P

I tend to bounce around a lot of my writing projects and my dream is to someday finish them. *rolls eyes*

I hope you enjoy the forum. ^^ We're pretty good at motivating and helping people get inspired. ;)

Welcome Arien! Hopefully you'll have lots of fun times here on HW. :) We may not be scholarly, but we do have a Scholar's Hall where we can be scholarly. I'm not sure what we usually do with that though; the introductions room is so much more fun! :D

Anyways, ignore Elanhil and Reiyen. They tend to go around starting rebellions and planting bombs and crazy stuff like that, so we keep them on a short leash. :)
