Hello everyone! =]

I'm the Lady Em! Uh....I was kinda dragged in here by Melody ;] She says you guys are cool

Since this is an introduction, I guess I should say something about myself, yeah? Well! I'm an artsy person- I doodle a lot. I love reading fantasy, but I can't write it for the LIFE of me. ( so sad D: I've tried. Fantasy and I just don't get along when I'm writing) I watch Sci-Fi (Star Trek and Doctor Who anyone? ;D ) and I write....stuff that defies my brain's understanding of genre. I really don't know what it goes it, really. It's just fun. I'm currently studying linguistics, and it's a recent obsession. (Watch- bring up a language-y question with me, and I can get stuck on that tangent for HOURS. I LOVE it! <3)

Anyway! I'm looking forward to hanging out! =D

I'm writing a book that's genre defying too! What's yours about?

Howdy!

Generally I don't frequent the Introductions (I'm a hermit), but Melody said you're a linguistics major. I am a language enthusiast (as are a few other members here) and so I thought I'd let you know that you will actually find some Conlangs on here. Most of them are buried pretty deep, though.

One could technically be "murder mystery", but it's unlike others in the genre according to people I've talked to who are in the biz....and others tend to be mind-bending, futuristic something or others. ...Like, I don't even know how to sum up the plot XD At all (fail)
