I absolutely love Finding Nemo, but I agree about the Incredibles. It has some funny parts and looked pretty cool, like with that volcano meeting room and things like that, but the storyline is pretty forgettable. But my dad loves it. So to each their own, I guess. So what are everyone's faves? Mine are (in order, though putting things in order always causes me emotional trauma): The Toy Stories (can't put them in order), Up, Wall-E, Monsters Inc., Finding Nemo, Cars |

I can't confess to having watched a lot of Pixar movies but my favourite are Ratatouille and Up. I haven't seen any of the others you mentioned Celearas, except Finding Nemo but I didn't like that one, just couldn't get into it.

Unfortunately, I can't think of any quotes off of the top of my head . . . My dad loves The Incredibles. He identifies with Mr. Incredible, and we're related to someone who's almost exactly like Edna. Personally, my favorite is Toy Story 3, followed closely by Cars and Bug's Life (love Bug's Life). I loved Finding Nemo, that was so sweet. Lemme see . . . UP was pretty good, but it wasn't one of my favorites. Wall-E was adorable, it was the only movie which made me cry. There's something about Pixar movies which are different from every other movie company out there. Works of art, every one of them. I'll keep on the lookout for good quotes which haven't been used yet.

I didn't care for the Incredibles, but I loved those two quotes that Terra gave. Those were my favorite parts It was hilarious watching it though, because in the beginning when Mrs. Incredible is being interviewed she makes some interesting statements. WE were watching the movie during our world views studies as a family, and my mom was hilarious, she started saying "World View, World View, can we say World View?" Out of character for my mom to say something in the kind of siren like voice she used. It had my sides aching.

Most of the Pixar fans I know (and I know a good number) either put Incredibles way at the top or way at the bottom. It's interesting. I thought Finding Nemo's story was rather weak, which is out of character for Pixar. It was a still a decent movie - I love Dory and the sea turtles - but it just wasn't as... WHAM, if you know what I mean. A friend told me it's a requirement for every Pixar fan to make a complete list, putting all of the Pixar movies in order from favorite to least favorite. I plan to do that after I watch Incredibles and rewatch Bug's Life (haven't seen it in ages), but right now my list looks something like...Wall-E Toy Story 3 Up Monsters, Inc. Toy Story Ratatouille Cars Toy Story 2 Finding Nemo And it's a really hard divide between Wall-E and Toy Story 3. TS3 absolutely blows me away - the ending makes me want to sob everytime. Unbelievable! But Wall-E is so unique and one of the most cohesive stories ever. Plus I just love that little robot. |
