Here are some fun poems that I think you all will enjoy. By the way, I didn't write these.
Hand-me-downs
I'm always wearing hand-me-downs I don't get stuff that's new My mom won't take me shopping I don't know what to do. The dresses always fit me fine, But high heels give me blisters. It's not that easy growing up, A boy with older sisters.
Mind your manners
Don't drum on the table. Don't play with your food. Don't talk while your chewing. It's terribly rude.
Don't leave the fridge open. Don't slam the screen door. Don't throw dirty laundry All over the floor.
Don't fight with your brother. Don't pull the cat's tail. Don't open your big sister's Personal mail.
Don't pester your parents Don't stick out your tongue Don't do what your parents did when they were they were young.
All My Great Excuses
I started my homework, but pen my ran out of ink... My hamster ate my homework, My computer's on the blink...
I tripped and dropped my homework In the soup my mom was cooking... My brother flushed it down the toilet When I wasn't looking...
My mother ran my homework Through the washer and the dryer... An airplane crashed into our house... My homework caught on fire...
Tornadoes blew my notes away... Volcanoes rocked our town... My books were taken hostage By an evil killer clown...
Some aliens abducted me... I had a shark attack... A pirate swiped my homework And refused to give it back...
I worked on these excuses So darn long my teacher said, "I think you'll find it easier To do your work instead."

If you like funny poems, you oughta check out Shel Silverstein's book of poetry, "A Light in the Attic." He's a very talented poem writer, and some of the poems had me laughing really hard!

The first one got me laughing, because I have a friend with three older sisters. =)
