Unfortunately, yes. My "perfectly-fine" computer gave me a virus alert during school today. As I was moving my mouse to take care of it, blue screen with gibberish flashed for a second, then dead. Not good.

(My first thought was, unsurprisingly, "My book!" Hopefully I'll get that back). Anyways, it won't boot. I'm waiting for my dad to get home to deal with it, but I think this is a whole OS reinstall. Fun. =( Anyways, I'll be gone around here probably until Monday, maybe later. I might pop in on Elanhil's computer (what I'm using now) but not likely... =)

Arg, when I first saw the title I thought "No way." So sorry. What is with everyone's stinking computers? *is suddenly worried* I don't have this thing backed. . . :shock: Murphy's Law. . . *is going to bug her dad a lot in the next couple days*

I do hope everything is recoverable!

Well, I got all my data. Now I'm just reinstalling programs and whatnot. But I missed a whole day of homeschool today so I probably still won't be on until Sunday or Monday. But I vanquished the evil computer attackers! =)
