Hello, Holy Worlds family! I'm new. You may have noticed that from my lack of posts. *looks at statistics* Yeah...

Anyhow, I'm just introducing myself, and I hope that I get a lot out of this forum, and can help a lot of others.

I have been writing since I was like eight, but I've only gotten serious about it this past year or so.

What are some good topics/threads to get into for newbies?

Welcome, Nick! It's great to have you. :D Jump on in to the conversation anywhere. Do you have a particular area of writing that interests you most? You might browse that section of the forum for starters.

Don't listen to Airianna. She has no idea what she's talking about. We're not "slightly" mental - we're "extremely" mental. ;) But that also makes us extremely nice and tolerant. :D

I'd suggest reading the 98 (or 99? I lost track) pages of Character Introductions. Just kidding. :D Any thread you think is interesting is a good place to jump in. :D

Yes, I am. And Sir Emeth advertised a contest that was only open to members of this forum, so I joined. I decided to be active when I got a message that mentioned a centaur's respiratory system, and I realized that everyone here is crazy, too.

Okay, I've decided what I want to discuss first in this forum, but I'm not sure where to do it.

The main villain of one of my stories that I am writing is a demon. I want to get him analyzed by the people here, but I don't know where it would be appropriate to put him.

Go to the Forge and click on Character Development. You can start a topic about your character there.
