Umm... All right. Here it goes! (So be kindly, please...)

My [user]name is obviously Crystluna and my welcomeress, Airianna, asked me what the secret was behind my name.
Truthfully, there isn't a secret behind it exactly. I just like the names/words crystal and luna (luna=moon) and once made CrystaLuna, but then shortened it (kinda) to Crystluna. Which I find kinda perfect, since it's similar to Christ, right? Not that I'm claiming to be anything compared to the Lord Jesus Christ or anything! I just... find it more naturally representative, in a sense, of being "in Christ alone" or a follower of Christ, Yeshuah the Messiah.
(If you can get my meaning...)

Anyway, enough of my ramblings, now on to me! ...Oh dear.

Now following the basic outline, I was so kindly given...

Quote:
•Tell us about your writing. Do you like fiction, nonfiction, Fantasy vs. Sci-Fi, Historical fiction, and so on?

-I like all fiction and will not choose between sci-fi or fiction, because I love both~! And I will read non-fiction occasionally... not often really.

Quote:
•Tell us what you’ve written, how far have you gotten. Are you one of those "write and shred" type people, or those "save everything in a binder" type people?

-I've written numerous stories... Just never got around to writing down the rest of the story, making it into correct, readable format, or actually writing down what's stored in my head! I try to store and organize everything into a binder or folder, but they really are all scattered. They're either in notebooks, some on binder paper in a folder, or some on lil torn pieces of paper I sometimes "misplace". Eh heh...!

Quote:
•You could tell us what your favorite fantasy creatures are.

-Ok. This one I had no trouble thinking over. I truly do like all fantasy creatures (even those you are meant to despise, for they are described amazingly and you have to admire any living creature God allows to live), but above all... I am a dragon lover. Unfortunately, the world portrays ALL dragons as bad and evil creatures and you don't see many good images or kind descriptions of them in Christian books. Especially since, the Bible gives Satan the form of a dragon. *weeps* Thankfully, writers like Donita K. Paul are standing up for the dragons who are good and are not all malicious! (Better stop while I can...)

Quote:
•Are you homeschooled? If so, you will find lots of us on here who are.

- No, I am not homeschooled, but am intrigued by the idea of doing online school.

Quote:
•Are you an artist, musician, or strictly a writer? Do you prefer reading to writing?

-I am both a writer and artist. (Sorta...) I am just one who draws and/or writes solely from what intrigues or inspires me!

Quote:
•Do you have other hobbies?

-I have a hobby (more so an unbeknownst habit) of wanting to take care of my friends and the urge of making sure everyone is happy! ...Does that count as a hobby??

Quote:
•How big of a family do you have? Are they a big part of your life?

-All you need to know, is that I don't have any brother(s), but do have sister(s) and wonder parents, plus everyone in the body of the church! Through the ups and downs of life (thick and thin), my family is the anchor I have had my entire life, to get me through those hard moments! It's where I go to for support and advice and any spiritual questions, as well. I thank God Almighty for blessing me with such a wonderful, fantastic, and supportive family! We have our difficult times, now and then, but we always pull through because of our faith!

Quote:
•Are you going to college? Do you have a job?

-I wanna go to college and do not currently have a job.

As my own lil' bonus, I favor anime and manga and am a Hayao Miyazaki fan, as well. >w <

Aaannd... I think that's about it! *looks back* Oi vay, did I write a lot! O_O'
[Oh yeah. Also... NO FLYTACKLEHUG(s), PLEASE!?!! 0 ~0 *scared and covers head. peeks*]

Mae govannen CrystLuna! (your name reminds me of butterflies)

I agree on the dragon thing, I use things with horns that shouldn't have them as evil things, also snakes but they get a bad rep too sometimes...

Thank you and no... not too bad. A little odd, but I guess that's just how things are around here.

And... THANK YOU!! You have no idea how heart-breaking and sometimes a bit angering it is, when people prosecute dragons!

Yes... Horns are a great use for many things, but sometimes looked at as only a menacing charateristic. And snakes are so lithe and... ect. , but are apparently the descendents of a cursed creature. *shakes head*

Anyway, what does

mean??

------------
And to Jonathan: My favorite would be Nausicaa, but I like all of his movies overall. That movie, Castle in the Sky, was well drawn, wasn't it? Especially the dream part.

Greetings! Hail & mae govennan!

Sayyyyyyyy, another anime/manga fan! What kind of mangas do you like? My favorites are free online Christian ones. :) You'll find quite a few fans around here -- my friend Calenmiriel is one of them. <smile>

I like dragons too...but not in Eragon. :D Donita K. Paul's dragons are cute. ;)

Mae govennan means 'well met' in either Sindarin or Quenya. I'm unsure. Glorfindel greets Frodo with it in The Fellowship of the Ring. (Glorfindel is a High Elf, one of the Noldor, so he might speak Quenya, but Quenya was forbidden to be spoken in Middle-earth thousands of years ago... so I don't know. :D)

Yay! I am sooo happy to see this posted! I've been bursting waiting to greet you officially on the site! Welcome over much my dear Crysty (that is my nickname, I call copyright!)! I have no doubt you will be warmly received and loved. :)

Thank you Amanda...!

And I do hope I shall settle in well here.

Thanks for clarifying on that confusing subject, Melody.

And yes... I have finally, at long last, posted my introduction thread, Airianna.
...That's interesting. I've never had anyone attempt a nickname. Okay then! Fine by meh~! ^w^

Welcome! We're thrilled to have you here! I believe I mentioned this elsewhere, but I adore your avatar. :D

Airianna bestows wonderful nicknames... though usually she doesn't copyright them! Airianna!! Anyway, she gave me the sweetest nickname - Philli! I'd never thought of that as a short form for "Philadelphia," and it really stuck. :)

Looking forward to talking with you!

Okay, I promised I wouldn't flytacklehug, so I won't. Welcome to Holy Worlds! I'm really excited that you are here! I like long introductions, so I enjoyed reading that. :D

Ooh, another dragon lover! :D I love DKP's dragons; they are so cute. There are lots of dragon lovers on here, as you can see. I like the one on your avatar. :)

Anyway, welcome again! *Tiny dragons fly up into the air, spelling "Welcome, Crystluna!" in lots of colors. Fireworks go off in the background.*

Airianna, really? Copyright? Hmph. ;) I'll make up another nickname, then. :)

:D you still love me though sis, admit it!

I can see Crysty, that my copyright created the stir I thought it would. You see how predictable and cantankerous these HWers are. :)

Greetings and Salutations, Hail and well-met. You do have a lovely avatar. :D

I'm very glad to see you've posted your introduction; as you can see I'm actually trying to pay attention for a change.

*feels guilty because she hasn't replied to anyone else's introductions*

Anyway, I'm sure you will enjoy your sojourn here at HW. We're all a little crazy, and some say not quite sane but that's fine by most of us, because we are (after all) crazy fantasy writers.

It's AWESOME to have you on here, Crystluna! I LOVE your name. It's absolutely beautiful.

If I ever have a little girl, I've been thinking about naming her "Crystal Luna" so of course, I saw your username and squealed I loved it so much. ;)

Welcome!

:D

Yeah, seems nobody has reservations on those two scores where I am concerned. I can't imagine why... :D

Oh well, I wouldn't know what to do with myself if you all treated me differently.

Crysty, you should feel highly honored that Jaynin has welcomed you on your introduction. She hardly ever does. It isn't because she doesn't like people (right Jaynin? *grins wickedly*) she's just busy with her head in a book. So feel privileged.

I know! *feels momentary shame at her apparently infamous character* But somebody has to keep you all young and sane. :D

And now they will strip me of my yellow name for such tomfoolery!

Airianna, if you're trying to keep us sane, you're doing a really, really pathetic job!

I don't think they'll be stripping anybody of their yellowness on account of a bit of humor. If they do, I'm not sure who they'll find to be yellow. Just Jay, I guess. ;)

Jay is like my dad, he doesn't really care for silliness. But when the MLs behave like my mom, there's not anything more he can do about them than my dad can. :D

I kid, Jay's got a sense of humor. But he calls it "pure wit" and not silliness. ;)

(I'm going to get demoted if I keep this up...)

Hmph. Not likely.

Oh, by the way, Crystluna, derailing introduction threads is a common practice around here. Just ignore us...

Welcome Crysty! (sticks out tongue at Airianna :)) I'm late (as usual) but it looks like you're fitting in just fine around here. Hope you enjoy your stay! =D =D

Welcome to Holy Worlds!

Jaynin, we can feel guilty together; I haven't been keeping up with the introduction threads either!

Yes you did Willow! I specifically remember that comment being made in the chat room!

And I should have known it would be Eruheran who thumbed his nose at me! See how he treats me? No respect! No respect I say!

It is true! I get no respect around here *glares at Eruheran and stick tongue back out at him*. (Thinks to self, “That was really mature.”)

Lizzie love, have you ever noticed you and I quote Evening a lot where our relationship is concerned?

Well, you all better be glad I'm not trying that hard to keep you sane. I am a Drill Sergeant’s daughter you know, I know how to make people drop and give me twenty. :D If I wanted the whole lot of you would be horribly normal Muahahaha! *laughs with evil mad scientist laugh*

I am glad you find us all amusing Crysty, and not demented.

Oh, Kaitianna, nice going with the tongue; very mature. :P

I second that, Willow. Remember, we were talking about how you won the award for silliest Marcher Lord? (In a good way.)

Ahem. Welcome, Crystluna! I hope you are enjoying the forums thus far. It's a good sign that you don't mind our, uh, productive insanity. :D

Productive insanity, that's it. See, Airianna, if you took it to us, our productivity would suffer and the forum as a whole would... gasp!

Anyway, Crysty, do you draw anime or just read it? (Pardon me if that information was in your introduction post and I forgot.)

Well, I suppose if it is in the best interest of the Forum...

Do you do any of your own concept art for your stories, Crysty?

I know I'm rather late, but welcome to Holy Worlds, Crystluna. I can see you'll fit in just fine with us abnormally normal people. :D

(Oh, and I really like your name by the way! It sounds kind of cool when you say it.)

And Aiva, I really don't think you could make us normal even if you tried. :D You can't change our essences! ;)

Well, you win the prize for most clever thing of the day Willow. No, I cannot change your essences, and, very out of character I know, I actually have no come back for that one.
