Hi, everyone! My name's Meg. This is a wonderful little community and I'm so glad to become a part of it! :D
So I've been looking around at other introductions and I decided to go with a few random facts to introduce myself.

I'm 16 and a junior in high school.
I love music. I play piano, accordion, banjo, and guitar and my favorite band is Crooked Still.
Reading and writing, like music, has always been a part of my life. I dearly cherish the classics, but one of my favorite contemporary authors is Stephen Lawhead. He's brilliant. ;D
I love martial arts, kung fu films, anime, manga... You name it. (Though I have yet to actually enroll myself in a martial arts class... It will happen one of these days! XD)
My fantasy novel is nearing its finish.

Can't wait to "meet" all of you! :D God bless!
Meg

Welcome to Holy Worlds.

I'm impressed that you can play four instruments. The only instrument I can play is the guitar.

Welcome to Holy Worlds! :D

Yay, another manga/anime lover! ;D I'm trying to learn how to draw anime, but it's hard because there really aren't any clean manga art courses (at least that we've been able to find). :)

Welcome! It's great to have you here. Ah, a fellow guitar player. What type do you play, and how long have you played? I've played for about 10 months now, and I do Classical on an Acoustic guitar. :D

Haha, so many questions! :D Thanks for making me feel welcome!

-Do you plan on seeking publication?
I'm not sure yet. My friend's going through the process with hers and I'm watching to see what happens.
-I play the piano as well what music do you like playing?
Anything... folk, classical, Celtic, rock... Anything. :)
-Say, you wouldn't happen to be from www.christianmanga.com, would you?
Nope, but I'm definitely going to check that out now! :D
-What kind of Manga and anime do you like? I used to be into the Naruto anime.
My favorite's Detective Conan (called Case Closed in America), but I also like One Piece, Lost Hope, Tsubasa, and a few others that only have one or two books out.
-What type do you play, and how long have you played?
I think I've played for two or three years now, mostly just chords and a few little riffs. I play mostly Celtic, folk, and acoustic versions of slow metal songs. I want to play classical, too, but I'm not taking lessons so it's kinda hard to learn. :)

Thanks so much for your welcome, guys! :D

I love Celtic Music!!! Keith and Krysten Getty are the best! Although I also like some more traditional, folkish Celtic music as well.

Welcome again Featherpen!!!

Out of curiosity, what is your word count for almost-finished-book-number-one?

Be careful of your thoughts; guard your mind, for your thoughts become words. Be guarded when you speak, for your words turn into action. Watch what you do, for your actions will become habits. Be wary of your habits, for they become your character. Pray over your character; strive to mold it to the image of Christ, because your character will shape your destiny.

Ideas can germinate from the smallest seeds. Collect those seeds, and let them grow in the back of your mind. You may be surprised by what finally blooms.

When God takes something from your grasp, he's not punishing you. Instead, He’s opening your hands to receive something better. The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.

Works in progress:

The Diegosian Mark, 115,600 words (Preparing for Publication)
The Diegosian Rider, 121,400 words (Finished)
The Diegosian Warrior, 15,000 (In Progress)

Welcome, Featherpen! Glad you could join us here on Holy Worlds! :D

I have an acoustic/electric guitar that I play. (Sadly, I haven't played much this fall due to business.) :/ I'm mainly self-taught. After a year of self-taughtness, my parents paid for 5 guitar lessons last March. I think it'd be great to pick them up again once I graduate. :)

I've always loved the martial arts! I took a trial class, but that's as far as I got. XD I'm satisfied watching movies with it in there instead. :3

I too am an anime/manga fan. I'm also on the Christian Manga forum with Melody and Arwen. :D I've been drawing anime/manga since July 2006. (I also draw many other things besides anime/manga.)

I hope you've settled into our little community well enough! ^^

-About 26,000. It's not a lot because at the moment it's just the bare bones. So by almost finished, I mean the basic structure, important scenes, etc, are almost to the end. I'll be going back through and adding in all the extras. :) I haven't been able to finish anything before, so I'm hoping this technique will work.
-What is the longest book that you have ever read??
Ooh, probably one of Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series. I only got through the first three and a half, so I'd say the first one was the longest, around 830 pages. Or one of the Harry Potter books.
