Hi, I'm me, but my username is Elisanna. I was dragged onto the forum by my older sister, Evening L. Aspen. I got an account on January 18 this year and this is my first time posting. :)

Although I'm not much of a reader, I enjoyed Goose Girl by Shannon Hale and Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbit, but I did not really like the ending. :book:

I have a cat named Mollie. She is an American Shorthair. She is about 1 year and 8 months. She is a brown tabby with a white underside, chest and paws with a white diamond along her spine on her back. She is SO cute.

Welcome, Eve's sister :D

My cat is...a barn cat :P He's cute, though! Orange tabby with a ridiculously idiotic attitude/personality.

Welcome to Holy Worlds!

My cat is all gray with a white underbelly, and she has white markings on her face and she has a gray spot on her chin that makes her look like Josh Harris.

YAY!

Sorry, I'm excited. ;)

Welcome to Holy Worlds, sis! How about a firework show?

*A spark of red light flashes in the distance and grows until it explodes into the fiery shape of a dragon. The dragon swoops over everyone's heads and rocket up to twist and turn into the air. The fireworks dragon folds into a ball and sommersaults downward again, but shoots up at the last second only to explode into a million tiny sparks forming the words:

WELCOME, ELISANNA!*

That was George. (No, not George like my little stuffed thing, a different George.) He likes welcoming people to Holy Worlds. Give him a cucumber and he'll be your friend for life. :D

Welcome, welcome!

We love people who drag their siblings onto the forum. We love the siblings they drag in, too. :D

Welcome, welcome! I have a kitty as well. Dark seal-point Himi. Fuzzy, soft, snotty thing.

I've dragged my sister onto a forum before... but that was because I signed up on the one she was on...
So Elisanna, what do you like to do? (other than writing)

Well hello, Elisanna... that name sounds sooo familiar... I am so excited to see you here. I enjoy hearing tales about Evening's younger sisters, so it is nice to finally meet one. You have my warmest welcomes and friendship. I hope you join us often for discussion and merriment!

Welcome to Holy Worlds, Elisanna! I like your username, it's pretty. :D

I have cats too! I love kitties! <3

Midnight: 9 year old, grumpy old man cat. Solid black (no white except a few since he's getting up in age), green eyes, and OCD. (He licks the fur off his lower belly and arms. They're bald. It's strange...) He's an indoor mutt cat. (He's also the my favorite of the bunch. He may be grumpy some days, but overall he's absolutely adorable!!!!) <3 <3 <3

Grandma (original name: Annabelle): Annabelle has grandkittens so we call her Grandma. :3 6 years old, tortoise shell mutt cat. Outdoor/Indoor.

Caddie (Catalina): 6 year old, Grandma's sister, brown tabby calico. Outdoor cat.

Jezabelle (or Jezzy): 6 years old, Grandma's other sister, brown tabby calico. Outdoor cat.

Shurbert (or Shurbie): 6 years old, Grandma, Caddie, and Jezzy's nephew. (I know the family tree, if you have confusion, just ask.) XD He's an orange tabby, extremely flexible and long. I can hold him upside down without him freaking out. Outdoor cat.

Elsie: Grandma's eldest daughter, 4 years old, lilac point in color. (Light, heather grey ears and tail.) Bossy, alpha female. Amazing crystal blue eyes. Outdoor/indoor cat.

Angel Bear: Grandma's second oldest daughter, 4 years old, tortie point in color. (Seal point brown with orange and cream mixed in on her ears, tail, and paws. She also has brown patterning on her back.) Our mental cat. Medium blue eyes. Outdoor/indoor cat.

Belle (named after her mom): Youngest sister to Elsie and Angel Bear, 4 years old, tortoise shell. She's our dog-cat. She follows us on walks up to two miles through camp. She's also very sweet in temperament. Outdoor/indoor cat.

Yes, we have many cats. They are mainly for gopher patrol. We have many here. :P When I mention they are indoor/outdoor, I mean that we allow that cat to come in a play with Midnight. We try not to have 5 cats in the house at a time.

I hope you enjoy the forums! Glad to have you here! :D

Thanks for the warm welcomes!

I enjoy horseback riding... bare-back joy riding.

Since we're on the topic of cats I'll tell you more about my cat.

I trained her some tricks... yes it is possible to train a cat. She jumps up on a bar stool and does shake (I tap the back of her paw and she picks it up), turn right, turn left, beg, reach down and jumps to another bar stool about 30 inches away.

For people who are interested:
To train your cat to jump up on the stool, tap the top of the stool and then put them on it and reward. Soon the cat will jump up by itself. I give my cat moist cat treats or cheddar cheese. It is really easy.

For shake, I tapped the back of her paw and then picked it up, rewarded her and held her paw while she was having the treat so that she did not try to get her paw out of my reach. Now she picks it by herself when I tap.

When I taught Mollie to jump to the other stool, I tapped to other stool which was very close when we started. I think that it was about 15-20 inches away. So at first she just walked to the other stool. Now she jumps.

Since cats are independent, I think that if you start off with a trick and you get them to do it, soon they will want to do it them self.

Cats are easiest to train when they are young and they have short attention spans, Mollie's maximum is about 2 and a half minutes.

Both are cute!!
I want to get a Bengal kitten. (I think that's what they're called.) My sister babysits one who is pregnant. I hope it has its kittens soon.

Aw! She is soo cute! We had another cat who recently had kittens but only one survived. (the mother rejected them. ) But my kitten is to young to have kittens, but I dearly hope she gets to have at least one litter before she is fixed.

@Willow and Elisanna: I love your kitty pictures!!!!! They are so cute! I'll post one of my favorite cat, Midnight, who is the indoor, OCD cat. :D :D :D

(P.S. Yes, Midnight gets into the position on his own. He's a weirdo. He's done this since he was kitten. )

Nice picture of your cat! I have a friend who trained her cat. It was pretty cool, and easier than training a dog because of the size. :D (Oh, and CONGRATULATIONS! on becoming blue.)

I think so too! He makes me laugh! He's very vocal, especially if we leave him home for the weekend. XD

Nope! He's pretty good about paparazzi. ;D Just kidding! Though, I do love to take photos of him. ^^ It's just getting to the right lighting with my digital camera. I don't like it when the flash goes off and his pupils become slits. He's so much more adorable with huge pupils. X3

Elanhil, you're kitty is sooo cute! I miss having kittens around the house... :(

My cat is NOT camera shy. We have thousand (and really, thousands) of pictures of Mollie! We used up all of the space on one of our computers with the pictures.

My cat too, is very vocal. When we come home from being gone for a few hours, she is meowing and rubbing against our legs, happy to see us. She also meows a lot when she wants food, to leave a room or attention. Once she was meowing and jumping up on the table where I was using the computer and walking across it, trying to get my attention. Cats are fun. :)

Haha, this is becoming a "welcome Elisanna and introduce your cat" thread. :D

 Thousands. Believe me. Thousands. Dad had to get a separate drive to put all the pictures (including the non-Mollie related albums) on after the computer ran out of space. It's crazy. That cat is nearly idolized.

My kitty is all grown up now. No longer a cute little kitten. Just cute. I only have about 10 pics of her; my camera broke soon after we got her.

*Digs around for photos*

I LOVE CATS! :D :D

I like cats too. They are fun! :D

I watched Tuck Everlasting last night and I liked it. It was the first movie that almost made me cry. In my opinion, if you want more information and a more disappointing ending and then a different ending that is more satisfying, read the book first and then watch the movie, if you don't want to have to go through a frustrating ending and be more emotional about it, just watch the movie. :D

Hmm, sounds interesting. I have read the book, and the ending made me go "Awww..." :?

In the movie, the forest did not get cut down, the spring of water was not lost and covered and they made Winnie's life seem a lot better... like she had made the right choice. I liked that part. :D

Yeah, it is a pretty good movie.

I like the way that they get rid of the man guy (the man in the yellow suit). It is very satisfying. :)

I was also shocked when the Tuck's house, the forest and the spring were exactly how imagined them! I'm not a fan of Disney, but I have to say that they did great job with this film and setting. It was one of their best films (but is not their own.)

Yeah, I agree. Was that a shovel that he was killed with??? My sister said that he was hit with something else.

Oh yeah, I did not like the man in the yellow suit. Interesting... I may look into that.

Does anyone else want to see/has seen Tangled? The preview gave me inspiration for how Shawn and Jay re-meet. :D Plus the thief looks like another fictional character... *coughJasonWhittakercough*

Actually Arwen, Mae Tuck hits him over the head with a shot gun... in the book, she shoots him.

Okay, I'm going to make a new topic to discuss this so that I don't derail it further. ;)

Actually, I was referring to the movie Tangled, since it has nothing to do with your introduction or the following conversation.

Oh. :P No, I haven't seen Tangled, but I've seen the trailer. It looks like a fun movie. I'll probably watch it when it comes out.

We're already quoting it here, and we haven't seen it yet! Flynn is just... cool. And you have to love that frying pan. ^^ (I've watched all the previews )

Well, my family saw it as a treat, and it was not what I expected. I loved it!

For general reference, and to avoid the Topic Control Police, I have made a topic on Tangled here.

(Eli, if you want to know who the TCP is, ask your sister. ;))
