Prithee, I wouldst prevail upon thine patience and cry thy mercy if I hath offended, but I fain would -- *cough cough cough* ...Sorry about that. Hello, everybody! Just got referred to the site by another member (or so she claims), and the little private message I got suggested I should introduce myself. Hi. I'm Devin, a comics creator and fan of numerous stripes of fantasy. I primarily write historical fantasy (though, in the interest of full disclosure, I haven't gotten anything published yet - I'm working on that), but I love to read high fantasy, dark fantasy, swords & sorcery, urban fantasy, the whole gamut. My favorite authors are (perhaps predictably) C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, Peter S. Beagle, Neil Gaiman, Fritz Leiber, Terry Pratchett, and a few others I've momentarily forgotten. Nice to make your acquaintances! |

Well...customarily I greet everyone onto Holy Worlds with a *flytacklehug* But since you've already been warned... Anyway...hopefully that didn't frighten you away. I'm Willow, or Willy or whatever you feel like calling me. And I hope you really enjoy this forum! So what do you do in comics? Are you into comic books, or web comics? Do you illustrate them? OR write them? Or both?! |

Willow Wenial wrote: So what do you do in comics? Are you into comic books, or web comics? Do you illustrate them? OR write them? Or both?! Write, pencil, ink and color them. The whole shebang. I like to read them, too, but I have a tough time finding books I enjoy enough to keep up with. I read a number of webcomics right now, which are nice because they're free - I don't have the disposable income right now to collect anything! |

Welcome, Devin! Would you rather go by mysterycycle, mystery, cycle, Devin, or some combination of the two? Oh, and I second Jonathan's comment. |

Oh my! I'm not actually here again today, but I thought I'd sneak in to welcome the few newcomers I knew had made it here. I see my welcomes are very late. Welcome Sir Mysterycycle, we are so happy to have you join us. I am glad you found your way here with little trouble so we could all welcome you properly. May your journey among us be highly blessed. |

Makes sense. But maybe you should have said 'of two of them,' not 'of the two.' It's something about the 'the'. |
