Since Thanksgiving is coming up, I thought this would be a great time to ask ourselves what we are thankful to God for. :D

Great idea ;)

I'm thankful for my creativity and imagination. Without these (and persistence) I wouldn't be able to write or draw or photo manipulate.

I'm thankful for my Jesus, my family, my wonderful amazing friends, keyboards, computers, forums with delightful Christian brothers and sisters, and milk and cookies. :)

^ I seriously thought you said parentheses and was like LOL for a minute...

I'm thankful for my best friend Manwathiel for encouraging me to write. And you all for getting my head so far in the game I don't think I'll come out for some time  ;)

I'm thankful for the awesome stories circulating around on HW right now and the awesome people! Y'all are great, seriously!
I'm also thankful for my family, which is happy and blessed.
(And I'm thankful for special occasion cranberry sauce that we get on Thanksgiving...less profound but very yummy!)

I'm so thankful for Jesus, for His salvation! For my amazing parents who gave so much to bring me up and for my countless brothers and sisters in the Lord for all the encouragement they give me!

I have a lot to be thankful for, but I'll try and keep it to the basics: I'm alive. I'm saved by God's grace. I can write. Those are some of the big ones.

I'm thankful for the ability to believe freely in what I do. I'm thankful that God is my Constant One in a time of many changes in my life.

I'm thankful for the wonderful parents who raised me to love God, and my funny younger brother who makes me laugh. ^^ I'm thankful for all the grandparents and great-grandparents I have, and all the animals we've been able to raise and enjoy.

I'm thankful for the Holy World community who have been a great blessing to me in viewing things from different angles and critiquing things with a God-honoring perspective.

Ooo, sorry, I got wordy...again. ^^;;

For computers, which have connected me to so many amazing people with so many different views and personalities...
For imagination, without which I would be more mad than I am now...
For JK Rowling, without who's books and truly real characters I literally don't know how I would have survived my early teen years and depression...
For the Harry Potter fandom at large, who are some of the most wonderful people in the world...
That I have a dog....
For my mentor-I've-never-met, who is such an amazing, incredibly smart lady...
For books...
For raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens...
For little Sean from the theraputic riding center, who I love dearly and keeps me going in a way he'll never know...
For my flute teacher and her amazing talent that so inspires me...
For my 7th grade science teacher/8th grade science club coach, for really caring about me and my team as people, even about little things like if we're getting enough orange juice in flu season...
For assorted corset sellers from the Renaissance festival, who doth rockth their socks...
And....
For this thread, which is amazing therapy.
