Hello all!
I am afraid I am rather new to this sort of thing, as I have never been part of an internet forum before! I hope I get used to it; then I may not feel quite so intimidated at the prospect of merely writing an entry!
I was brought up in a Christian home and made a conscious decision to follow after the Lord Jesus when I was about twelve. By the grace of God, I trust that I will always endeavour to serve Him throughout the course of my life.
I have always enjoyed a keen interest in writing, although I have only ever written one fantasy story before (and that was for children). I am, however, keen to learn some new writing tips and I hope that I may be able to put them to good use!
I really am quite a shy person and am not very good at talking about myself at great length! So I will say bye for now, but I hope to become better acquainted with you all soon.

Oh wow, I can't believe it! A budding aviatrix! I love any type of aircraft, they just turn me speechless, they are so beautiful to look at! However, the Supermarine Spitfire has to be my favourite aeroplane ever, closely followed by the Hawker Hurricane! I actually have flown a helicopter...that was fun! Red Arrows, here I come!

Ooooh. So you're more into modern stuff. That's really awesome! As far as modern goes, (or more modern.) I like the SR-71 Blackbird and Stealth.

Welcome, SotS! I like airplanes, but I don't think I'll ever get a pilots license or anything. My favorite one is the De Havilland vampire, or the Lockheed F-22. Unfortunately I've never gotten to ride in either.

Well I haven't actually flown an aeroplane, although I have travelled in one. Flying the helicopter was a very wonderful experience and I would do it again! It felt a bit like I was suspended on a piece of string with the distinct feeling that the whole world was at my feet!

Well, I have no problem with being known as SOS! I think I am going to have to try and find my way around the site a bit more soon...Elanor (my sister) has promised to give me a tutorial! I think I will hold her to that promise!

I've flown a plane. It is fun.

I've also ridden in a helicopter, which was more awesome than flying the plane.

The closest I've come to riding a helicopter is holding one in my hands and going 'Vroom, Vroom!' and pretending. I think it would be cool to fly an airplane or helicopter, but that isn't in the foreseeable future.

Sadly...I think the only way I could ever ride in a helicopter would be if I nearly died in some remote place and had to be lifted out to a hospital. *thinks about it* Nah. It's probably not quite worth it.

Or you could take up lucid dreaming.

The reason I don't nickname Elanhil and Eruheran is because I don't like any of the nicknames you can create out of them. So you both have kept your respective titles. Or we could call you guys Andy and Cay.

I would love to fly a plane...it is one of my dreams haha. I also want to do a parachute jump but if I do actually do that, I am risking giving my Mum a heart attack as whenever I mention it, she gets rather panicky! She knows I am accident prone!
Poor Elanhil! Apparently, there is an Elan Valley in Wales, so we will have to think of your name in a nice Welsh accent It would then be said in a singy songy manner, which may top having a nickname!

My aunt and uncle paid for a flying lesson for me a while back as a birthday present, and as a part of the lesson, I got to actually fly the plane myself for a few minutes. Lots of fun.
