Hi, everyone! I'm producing Christmas: A Twitter Reeactment, and I need your help! I'm in search of actors to take the roles of 20 characters for this historical recreation of the Christmas story. This "acting" is like writing improv dialog, so I thought some of you might be interested. If you know of anyone else that might be able to help, please spread the word! Even if you can't act, please consider following the reenactment or spreading the word. Every little bit counts, and I highly appreciate it. Thank you! Below is the "casting call" with general information: ***** Looking for ACTORS! Do you act? Do you write? Do you want to spread the gospel on Twitter? Do you want to experience the Christmas story with new depth? We need you! Christmas: A Twitter Reenactment (CaTR 2010) is in the works, and we’re looking for actors to pull off the show. We need willing souls to play the part of 20 characters, using Twitter accounts to recreate the Christmas story in live-time on Dec.16th, 7-10pm CST. Read the full actor requirements here: https://docs.google.com/document/edit?i ... y=CMexv9YD And view a list of characters here: https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key ... y=CM3827MJ All inquiries please contact me, the producer, at [email protected]. Please pray about this opportunity! As head writer and an actor for EaTR earlier this year, I can testify that it is an incredibly rewarding experience. I viewed the Biblical story in new depth, and the training has served me invaluably as I’ve pursued screenwriting. If you’re looking to break into filmmaking, this is an excellent opportunity! No previous experience necessary. If you know of anyone that would be interested, please pass the message on! Even if you can’t act, please consider following the official list (www.twitter.com/cf_narrator/catr) and spreading the word. We need your help! Thanks much! |

I participated in Easter: ATR, and it was tons of fun. (I was PR and an actor...) I really encourage everyone to participate! |

But I know you can write, Shawn! This "acting" is simply improv writing. But I really appreciate your prayers! Thank you!! |

Let me look into it Philli. I do both, so I'd be willing to participate. I just need to look at the links you gave and make a decision based on prayer, my time, and the effort needed to be a productive member of your cast. I'll let you know soon. |

I very much appreciate the serious (and prayerful) consideration, Airianna. As producer, I value it when people take the commitment seriously. Thanks, Lizzie! You're not missing much with FB, promise. To anyone who's interested: For the record, you do not need to have previous experience with Twitter. Many of our actors are first-time Twitterers, and they don't use Twitter for anything else. |

This sounds amazing! However, December is really busy for me, so I'm not sure if I'd be able to or not. Maybe next year... |

I understand about busy (don't talk to me about November! I will lose my nerve!), but I appreciate the consideration. We'd love to have you, Arias. |

I'll consider it, but I'll need to talk to my parents first, because it would require a "slight" (It's never that simple, is it?) modification to my computer settings. |

Thanks, Neil! We had an actor last year that needed computer settings tweaked, too. |

Christmas? Christmas?! What is this "Christmas" you speak of? I've never heard of this "Christmas." *eye twitch* Forgive this entirely useless post, I tend to freak out if I hear about the aforementioned holiday before Thanksgiving. I had to stop going to youth for a while because for some reason we kept talking about our "Aforementioned Holiday traditions!" So anyway, I'm leaving now. |

I know, I know... it's early... but if you promise not to have a heart attack, I'll tell you that I've been working on this since July. After Thanksgiving, might you be more inclined to join us? |

Alright Philli, as much as I would love to join you I have spoken with my father about this project and we have discussed it. While he has no issue with the project he would prefer I not get a twitter account at this time. I may be twenty now and perfectly capable of making my own decisions, but I trust and respect my father. In my life his word is final. He is a wise man and loves me more than any other, so everything he does and says is because he has my best interest at heart. While I am excited about your project and would have taken more time to prayerfully consider this I feel that my prayers would be more useful in praying for you and your work rather than ‘should I join this endeavor Lord’. So my prayers will not go away, but merely shift in another direction. I am very sorry, I would have liked to do this, but I will not be joining you this year. Perhaps next year my Father will think differently. If not I will pray for you yet again as you serve Christ in your actions. May you be very blessed! |

July?! Yeah, definately I could, it sounds interesting and would be a fun thing to do, as well as help with getting into character's heads. I'm pretty sure I have a Twitter, I think I got it so I could stalk JK Rowling or Buzz Aldrin or one of the many people I fangirl, but then never used it XD |

Airianna, I absolutely understand that from the bottom of my heart. I appreciate your serious consideration, but I value your prayers even higher! Thank you. Yes, I believe July was the month I started the thread to get the project rolling. We'd love to have you, Celearas! |
