-When you are one half of a pair Siamese twins in your Christmas play, and when the other half doesn't come to practise, you get an idea for a story.
(Everyone was laughing at me because I was saying both parts. :( )

One of the wise men had to play king Herod last practice, (he was also the director) he was saying both parts, and everyone, including him, was laughing.

-When your "favorite" Veggietales story ("favorite" meaning one of the few you do not mind so much) is the one about the Mexican asparaguses series of nightmares ("The Asparagus of La Mancha").

-When you are going to get the vacuum cleaner, listening to epic music, you get in the closet, shut the door, turn the volume down low on your MP3 player, hold your hand in the pallid glow of the screen, and when the light turns off you paw in the coats in the dark... then get out of the closet, hang a coat back up, get out the vacuum cleaner, and turn your MP3 player back up.

- you say "what in Carseld" instead of "what in the world"
- you see snow falling outside the window and immediately begin mentally composing a song for a sad scene where your MC finds someone dead in the snow (did that this morning, actually)
- you co-opt the Williams-Sonoma holiday catalog, cut out all the pages with cookware, and leave the gourmet food pages because it gives you an idea for a fantasy festival

I love yours, Tsahraf!

Be careful of your thoughts; guard your mind, for your thoughts become words. Be guarded when you speak, for your words turn into action. Watch what you do, for your actions will become habits. Be wary of your habits, for they become your character. Pray over your character; strive to mold it to the image of Christ, because your character will shape your destiny.

Ideas can germinate from the smallest seeds. Collect those seeds, and let them grow in the back of your mind. You may be surprised by what finally blooms.

When God takes something from your grasp, he's not punishing you. Instead, He’s opening your hands to receive something better. The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.

Hear, hear! Anyway, the Silmarillion practically is the Bible for Middle-Earth.

-When you make plans to escape your house to play dress-up, and you're much to old for that type of thing.
-When the ideal location for this dress-up game is your employer's house, because they have great stairs. (I feed their cats, and they're out of town. They like having someone around to make the cats less lonely anyways... playing around in an old dress and boots surely wouldn't bother them. )

You know, it's really hard to keep a straight face while doing that XD
First thing I did when I walked into the hotel room the other day was yell "Narnia!", walk into the closet, close the door behind me, and walk back out the other side. Unfortunately I was laughing with everyone else as I came out, so it ruined the effect. :P

*laughs * Yes, we were listening to some of E's music to type by the other day, and he had his tail going like a conductor at a music orchestra. IT was fun, but totally distracted me from writing. :D

You should put a cat doing that in your stories somewhere.

-When your little sister says, "Boo!" you say, "Unboo," she repeats, "Boo!" you reply, "Reboo!" she huffs and goes into the bathroom, you run up to the door and cry "Proboo, postboo, antiboo!" and you hear her answering cry from within the bathroom, "Sci-fi boo!"...

-When your mom comments that your potato in the microwave squealing because of steam is a tortured potato screaming, you then think of anything with a high pitch squeal or beep as a screaming something.
