While I'm somewhat curious as to how one goes about hugging an immaterial ... thing ... like "math", I'd like to rise in its defense with the words of Robert A. Heinlein's character Kip, the protagonist of Have Space Suit---Will Travel: "Math is worse than peanuts." :)

Bahahahaha!!! Keep that up and you'll make me homesick for Cleveland. ;)

*eyebrow raises at the shockedness* Math has several, wonderful uses, my favorite of which would probably be thinking up Sci-Fi cultures. ^_^

Math has always (well, maybe not always, but,) struck me with awe, to think of what can be done with it and how...just how complex it is, and yet there's no mistake in it, we just sometimes mess up when we try to use it...I think it's one extremely strong evidence for God...I think it's awesome that you hug math Ira Mordecai...whenever I tried to do that it would always respond with a roundhouse headache. :P

Math can be very cantankerous indeed (for example: I've never been able to master learning how to discover the episolon and delta in calculus :P 'tis a hundred percent succesful in spawning headaches inside the cranium), but at other times math can be very accomadating (algebra, for example ;)).

Wow, to the first part, I have no idea what you just said, but I think I can tell it's hard... :P

To the second part...yes, I think I would much prefer algebra, that was something I could sort of grasp-but to tell the truth I haven't really done that either...long story, but in short I'm a complete failure at math, and I'm not proud of it. But I'm glad that you like it. ;) :D

I hate algebra. I would love to create a character in my books called Algebra, and then have him murdered. ;)

I hate maths; I'm ok at what I call 'normal maths', but then get onto algebra and all that, and I'm no good at all. :D

Yeah, well, I was just kidding, but I really am still trying to figure out what to do other than writing (and I still have to work on writing a lot before I'll be at career level there too). But I know I didn't get "left out". To quote Foghorn Leghorn: "That's a joke, son; gag, that is!"
