That is a good question though. Is there anyone that wouldn't be able to attend because of School?

Ditto. :D

I talked to my mom, and she kind of laughed at the idea... mostly because convincing my dad would be interesting. :P But we do have lots of friends in Atlanta, and I still need 40+ hours of driving practice, so I'm not giving up yet! :D

SE Convention Poll

If you are planning to come please go to the link above and comment.

The planners need to know who is coming and where they are joining us so that we can present to our parents a schedule of what we will do at the convention.

On behalf of the planners, thank you. :D

*digs up very old thread* The convention occurred, and it was awesome! :dieshappy:

We had a little trouble meeting up at first, but once everyone was together we had great fun. :D

I probably shouldn't tell too much though. We want to keep some things a secret for the podcast. ;)

I would not have been able to go to any of these. You see, I live in the Caribbean and I think that it would be too much trouble to book a flight :( Could someone please plan a convention in Puerto Rico? I will be so grateful!

I didn't talk much in the Skype session (introvert/serious combination) but enjoyed hearing everyone's voices. :D I wish I could have talked with Elanor and Milly too though!

It sounds like everyone had fun. Thanks for letting some of us Skype in, guys!

Andi, if you have Skype maybe we could Skype together sometime? I'd like that.

It was a total blast getting together with the HWers in Atlanta :D And perfectly-timed as well since I had a fever for most of the following day and would not've been in a state to fellowship (at least, not without sharing illness).

Texas? Nonsense. You should all come to Canada. *nods* It's so hard for me to go anywhere else... :'(
Of course, by the time anything got done, it would be the middle of winter and forty below (Celcius). This might make it hard for anyone trying to get here.

Yes!!! It should be in Canada! How about Victoria? I know that there are four members that live in Canada (possibly five) and then it's also easy-ish for all you Americans to come over on the fairy going from Victoria to somewhere's in the states. :dieshappy:

@ Alina: But I'm in Alberta, so I would be in the middle of all us Canadians. I think... If you're in Victoria and four others are in Saskatchewan.

@Airi: No, you wouldn't. That's what winter coats and tuques and mittens and scarves and snowpants are for. Playing in snow. :D
They don't even cancel school here unless it's forty below without adding the wind chill. Of course, if you live in the country you get a few more days off if we get a lot of snow. It's also supposed to be one of the coldest winters in a long tme this year. *nods* I should find you a picture of the roads last year. They were terrible. That's really what would cause all the trouble.

Poor BushMaid. It's a lot harder for everyone to get to Australia.

Be careful of your thoughts; guard your mind, for your thoughts become words. Be guarded when you speak, for your words turn into action. Watch what you do, for your actions will become habits. Be wary of your habits, for they become your character. Pray over your character; strive to mold it to the image of Christ, because your character will shape your destiny.

Ideas can germinate from the smallest seeds. Collect those seeds, and let them grow in the back of your mind. You may be surprised by what finally blooms.

When God takes something from your grasp, he's not punishing you. Instead, He’s opening your hands to receive something better. The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.

pfft. You could get used to it -eventually. My grandparents went on vacation to Australia and New Zealand, and came back in the middle of winter -it was kind of funny.
We had snow the other day! But it melted. :(

I still think coming here makes the most sense. Doesn't matter how warm Australia or Victoria are in the winter. We could wait until the summertime, but that's no fun. The best time would be family day weekend sometime in February. Then we'd have snow, and I wouldn't have trouble with school.

*chuckles * Missouri. A place where it already gets too cold for my system.

I was teasing, though. I mean, lots of people know I have a hard time maintaining my body temperature, for many reasons, so I get cold very very easily, but I was teasing about it being too cold for me to go. I probably could not make it to begin with. :(
