Miri, I took a career course thing for school a few years back, where you do a lot of personality and career-fit and christian ministry assessments. It was a good course. But. Anyway. That's where I took the test {and it was incredibly loooooong, too :P - took like 3 hours}.

I'm an Extrovert, but I have Introverted tendencies every now and then.

I took a test, once. I got "ESFP" - the Performer. :D

Terra, I heard the same thing! So I've also taken it a couple of times. Although for the most part I got INFJ, I occasionally got INTJ as well. Close, but not quite right, in my opinion.

Heh. I think Terra needs to re-post what she said, because she accidentally posted as me. (I must've been logged in and she didn't realize it.) So I edited the post she made.

She's an INTJ (Introverted, iNtuition, Thinking and Judging personality.) Which I think is interesting, since I'm an ESFP (Extroverted, Sensing, Feeling and Perceiving personality.), and we're identical twins. So we're basically exact opposites. :P

Oops.

Anyhoo, to recap what I said:

I read somewhere that taking the test multiple times increases accuracy. So I took it multiple times, and seem confused between INTJ and INTP. Usually I'll just say INTJ though, to simplify.

I got approval from a mod to change the second to last post of RedWing's so that is shows up as TerraRandom's post. I hope I did not hopelessly confuse anyone. Carry on. :)

@Riniel: You're INTJ too? Cool. :) I only took a quick online test, but the results match me pretty well. I'm about as far introvert as you can get :) Seriously; my parents have to entice me to go out and do stuff with my friends :D

I took the Jung test twice. The first time was three years ago and at the time I was an INTP... I guess a lot more changed than I realized since then.

I'm INTJ, which would be an introverted intuitive thinker who judges. :D

I am very much an introvert but at the same time I do not mind being with my friend and maybe my sunday school pals (for a short amount of time...) being around a lot of people physically exhausts me.

Wow, Bethy, I would never have thought of you as shy---you are always so exuberant around here. But now I can easily picture you acting that way. ;)
I say I am an introvert. I feel drained after being with people very long, and if I were invited to a party, I might be tempted to sneak off by myself. Maybe read a book or walk outside.
I am quiet, and if I don't know you well, you will see more smiles from me than words. Yes, I am shy (although that might just be an excuse for my pride and arrogance). I give brief answers when asked, and don't mind keeping things to myself. But if you pair me with a friendly, talkative person, I'll start to open up.

I like to think carefully about what I want to say, before I say it. That is probably why I do great over the internet. You guys are getting what my closest friends get, but you are getting it all the time.

I would not say the personality we display online is a facade. It is a facet of our true selves. The part not covered up by the usual inhibitions or judgments of appearance.

Okay...does nobody remember when I first joined HW? I was shy then!...I mean, it lasted for like, a day...but I was shy! My introduction thread is proof! I said barely two words to everybody... Y'all drained the shyness out of me, though...now nobody can imagine me being shy.

You sound very similar to my sister, Aemi. She is very much like that...almost exactly, actually.

I was kind of shy in the first post in my introduction thread, too. :) I wasn't around when you first joined, Bethany.

I didn't think you were shy at all, Bethy. You sure fooled me! :D

I didn't have an intro thread... I just threw myself into the middle of the chat with a splat.

Oh, I knew when you first joined that you were incredibly shy! You still are, in many ways. You show the tendencies towards a shy personality, however, you have warmed up to this environment and group of people, thus why you do not seem shy to most users. ;)

I am introverted! I am an ISFJ according to 2 different personality tests I did. Both were very accurate and pretty much nailed me. I like things to be done a certain way, I like being organized and having lists (especially when I am packing for a trip.) And according to one book, the secret to success for an ISFJ is learn to be more spontaneous. Guess I need to work on that!

Oh! Alina I just realized we have the same personality type but with you as extroverted and me as introverted!

I would have said you were an introvert, Bethy. Even though you are very outgoing on the forum, that isn't really the prime extrovert qualities. Your prime qualities are introvert. :)

The Rainbow in the Storm- My Blog

Be careful of your thoughts; guard your mind, for your thoughts become words. Be guarded when you speak, for your words turn into action. Watch what you do, for your actions will become habits. Be wary of your habits, for they become your character. Pray over your character; strive to mold it to the image of Christ, because your character will shape your destiny.

Ideas can germinate from the smallest seeds. Collect those seeds, and let them grow in the back of your mind. You may be surprised by what finally blooms.

When God takes something from your grasp, he's not punishing you. Instead, He’s opening your hands to receive something better. The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.

Works in progress:

The Diegosian Mark, 115,600 words (Preparing for Publication)
The Diegosian Rider, 121,400 words (Finished)
The Diegosian Warrior, 15,000 (In Progress)

Yeah... * whispers * considering I mumble, when I speak in real-life... I'd say I'm introvert too....
