I'm not the first one to use that phrase, prefaced with a "not literally," on this forum. Actually, I wouldn't have thought anyone would have taken that mental image to be literal until I saw people using disclaimers on this forum.

I didn't think of literally until Airi drew my attention to it.

Sorry. I'm a very visual person (not normal for a girl, yeah, I know). And word phrases become very... alive, in my mind.

I am both literal and metaphorical, depending on the situation.
