You guys are cracking me up!

Random fact: I once thought about stealing something. (Only from a standpoint of wondering what would happen, not seriously considering it.)

Random fact: I have a watch that reads air temperature (influenced by my body temperature), shows the phases of the moon, and has the time for major cities all over the world.

THAT IS COOL. My little brother (second of the four) would be freaking out. He loves gadgets like that.

Random fact: I really like to operate heavy equipment. A manlift?

Knives dull quickly when cutting much plastic.

That's amazing. I had this...I forgot what it was called, but it was made out of something flexible... Anyway, it was this ring in the shape of the traditional 'picture' of a grape - you know, the kind every toddler sees in their books, the 'natural'/'typical' one.

Anyway, back to the point, it changed colors from a light purple - which is why I got it - to a deep red when exposed to sunlight.

I don't know where it went...

*chuckles* I guess I should take myself with it.

That's how I usually feel. It would be nice if I could send my body to bed but keep my brain awake and working, since its the most stubborn about falling asleep.

Random facts:

1. I always run up the stairs, usually 2 or 3 at a time. (Except once every Friday.)
2. I used to be obsessed with maps and atlases, and still am to some extent.
3. I lost my first tooth eating a bowl of cereal.
4. I almost never get up before 8 o'clock (largely due to late nights on HW ).
5. I'm ambidextrous, but only when playing tennis or Ping-Pong.

TENNIS! PING-PONG! *cough*

So what happens every Friday going up the stairs?

- I have a numb patch on the left side of my lower back about the size of my hand from a horse fall incident four years ago.
- I chew the fingernails on my index and middle fingers when I'm nervous or thinking hard.
- If I'm listening to a cool rock song I randomly break out in air guitaring.

That, I would love to see.

Random fact: A good day brightener is always a getting a new book in the mail.

Random Fact: When I smile, one of my eyes closes more than the other.

I once took my little sister to a Jonas Brothers concert, (out of kindness, not because I wanted to go!!) and I went temporarily deaf when we came out.

Random fact: Unlike everyone I know, the only way I fall asleep is when I am tired. I cannot go to sleep at will.

Me neither. In fact, there are a lot of times when I can't even fall asleep when I'm tired.

Random fact: Every time I try to post a random fact in here, I promptly forget it and have to submit myself to an intense brain search in order to remember it.

Random fact (number.... can't remember): I am ambidextrous.

Another random fact: When I play ping-pong (or table-tennis), I'm all over the place and can't stand in the same spot while the ball is in play, so usually after I verse my big brother, I'm all puffed and worn out, while he has barely raised a sweat!

Another random fact: I hate swimming in deep water where you can't see the bottom, it's murky, and it's really deep.

We clean our bathroom sinks and counter once a week, and when I'm going up the stairs, I don't want to spill the solution in the bowl.



Boy, that describes me to a fault (literally!) I find that the easiest time to fall asleep is when I'm not supposed to!

I learned how when our library decided to have a cooking competition where you had to make sushi. One of the women there gave us a demonstration, then we had to divide ourselves into teams of six. The other team would score us out of ten for cleanliness whilst making it, and presentation.
I didn't win, (unfortunately, because the prize was a ginormous cook book!) because I am naturally a messy cook. (<-- not a fact to be proud of )

Likewise, except I end up having to leave before it works.

Random fact - I listen to "Lullaby" by Nickelback every night. For various reasons other than the fact that I like the song.

Random fact - The song "Unwell" by Matchbox 20 describes me to a T.

- I only have five months left for my theme song to fit me exactly; Free to be Me by Francesca Battistelli.

- I always let my iPod go completely flat before I recharge it.

Random fact: The power went out at 1:00 AM last night, and my bedroom was extremely hot until the power came back on at 2:00 AM.

Random fact - I had a nightmare last night. Me and an HW friend were going on this walk around town. I think I was showing him around. Then some car came hurtling out of nowhere and just slammed into him.... I think I woke up crying.

Random fact - I freak out most of the time when people say 'goodbye' instead of 'see you later'. I think I inherited that phobia from my friend... we have good reason to be afraid of the word goodbye, to be honest. It's just too final for my liking...

Uh... I had a weird dream last night in which I was in a car, but then the whole thing disappeared until it was more like a motorcycle, and I was going really fast and swerving around cars and trying not to crash...it was scary.

Random fact - I just got a call--my first call--for a bit of a writing job opportunity. Well, needless to say, I was nervous and awkward with my mom giving directions in the background. So what did I do?

I started stammering and talking with a faint Irish accent. Every time I get nervous, I speak in an accent. It's a little annoying. Luckily, though, I got the job.

Random fact - There is a cruise in November next year. Hosted by my all-time favorite band, Celtic Thunder. And my mom is actually considering going on it. Considering. And I have to pay for myself. But still! I've never been on a ship in my entire life, except one that wasn't actually moving! And my favorite band! All of them will sing together, and they'll sing solos, and there'll be Celtic dance classes and a Ceili night (which is like a Barn Dance here in the U.S....!
'Course... that would depend on whether I get up enough money... well, I've got about $1,000 saved up now. I got that in one year... so, if I could get another 1,000 by November next year... maybe if I get The Night Phoenix published in time and edit things for people and maybe get a part-time job... bah. I hate math.
