..."HW" is no longer an abbreviation for "homework."
...you did not read your summer reading list requirements, but you did read multiple novels, short stories, and poems at the Fireside.
...many exuberant thoughts, actions, and posts now include glitter.

Jesus therefore said to the Jews who believed him, If ye abide in my word, ye are truly my disciples;
and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.
- John 8: 31-32

“A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic-on the level with the man who says he is a poached egg-or else he would be the Devil of Hell. You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is, the Son of God: or else a madman or something worse. You can shut Him up for a fool, you can spit at Him and kill Him as a demon; or you can fall at His feet and call Him Lord and God. But let us not come with any patronizing nonsense about His being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did not intend to.” –C. S. Lewis

...you have trained your phone to show "HW" every time you hit 4 then 9 while texting. That is the only time I don't mind the fact that the right word never comes up =P

You have the computer next to the sink while you are washing dishes so you can read this thread.

I do lots of things when on the computer. I rarely have the luxery of just sitting on the computer and reading/posting. In order to spend much time on here, I have to fit it in in interesting ways. :)

Yeah... I combine my computer time with instrument playing, eating, cooking, sweeping, cleaning, and basically any other chore...

I just haven't accomplished the ability to wash the dishes and be on my iPad without covering said electronic with water. :P

You say "Ackthp!" in real life.

You say aloud 'Fire at will!' then wait for the gun sounds (they never come... :bawl: ).

How 'bout when you're disappointed to find that Webster failed to include "hugziz" in his New Unabridged Dictionary?

Huh, I've never had a problem with that...what in the world does "hugziz" mean? I have, however, been very disappointed in spellcheck for not recognizing the word "dwarves".

It's something you do to someone you like right before he leaves chat. (Grammatical he; I've only ever seen girls do it, usually to each other).

When you spend a good portion of ten days on holiday hoping that you changed your username back to normal after April Fool's, because you don't want to confuse people.
When you spend a good portion of time waiting for April Fool's day next year in hopes that you'll have more time to appreciate it.
When you start saying y'all even though that's definitely not part of the slang for your part of the world.

These were strange to read since there's no way I'd ever come across a decomposing seal in this part of the country. If it smells anything like dead deer, raccoon, opossum, skunk, or gopher then I would know. ;)

I've done it with a dead rabbit as well, in which case I imagine smells a lot like a dead gopher :P

...you realize that since many HWers are/were homeschooled, HW has always meant "Holy Worlds" and never "homework" to those people.

... You start comparing too many quotes in a post to having too many dialogue tags for no real reason at all.

... You call your cat "Jazz-eth" without thinking about it. (I did that yesterday!)

...you realize you have someone in your physical address book twice, once under their username and once under their real name. (Yeah, seriously.)

...you switch between calling someone by their real name and their username... in the same paragraph!

... you hear a name that happens to be the same one as a Holy Worlder and immediatly think of the Holy Worlder first.

... you have to use all your will power to not mention a Chat Mishap in a conversation with a non- Holy Worlder. (Happens all the time!)

... you randomly ask your "real life" friends if they can spell "cobha" or if they know what a Marcher Lord is.

-You just know that, between writing, HW, and Mock Crime Scene Competitions, you will have the FBI at your door someday.
-You impress people with your network of connections (close friends, really) unintentionally.
-You confuse your siblings by switching out HW and Real-Life names.
-Your best friend who you dragged on the forums now refers to you by your HW name All. The. Time. :D
-You kick yourself for not thinking to look up the LOTR soundtrack on Grooveshark sooner.
-You have an online home.
