Oh dear, it's been a while. *coughs* So anyway, working on this a bit more, we have some questions. First, I believe Lady Evelyn Mimetes was requesting to be evil, and, if that's still the case, we have an idea: basically, Evelyn would have been controlling a villain in the Character Role Play, and in there said villain uses a reality bomb which, for some reason, probably because HW is so awesome writing can actually do things, it works, causing all sorts of havoc and either replacing her with said villain or making her be controlled by said villain.

Next question: Who has universes they'd be willing to let us use in it at least some? (Especially those who actually have them in the Realms Beyond section, but we'll probably use any people would like to 'donate', even if only a bit (as might have to happen if there are enough of them)).

Finally (I think; I may be missing something): For those who are going to have characters in here, what sort of role do you want 'you' to have? How much do you want your character to do and talk, stuff like that, and also do you want to have your character in the main party at least some of the time? Or do you not care?

And I realized there's another question: Some of you have been promoted since we made your character (or your rank here was moved up in the merge), and since appearance is partially based off of rank, do you want your rank changed, or should we leave things as they are?

By the way, Leandra, how far are you on making people's faces?

Woohoo, one already! By the way, one of the things we were thinking about doing was having the characters end up inside them at least some, and then being able to use the cobha of the world, if any. (In HW, this means writing based abilities. ) We'll see how it goes, of course, but that's the current idea. We just need to actually consistently work on it.

I have a character named Michael that could possibly be of use. He's a bit of an anti-hero and would readily side with the villains if he thought it would profit him.

I actually had a really cool idea for my character in the game (Andorin Kaepora). I would be the head of a secret department that researches suspicious HW characters. It will take a bit to thresh out the idea, but I'll try to make time to do it. I watched 30 minutes of a movie last night and was like, "Wait a minute... If I have time for a movie, I should have time to get on HW." Guess I should go sign myself back in.

I'm not sure...I'll need to check into which faces I did last and figure out which page I last went through.

Hmm. Intriguing idea. Why don't you go ahead and flesh that out a little more (figure out why such a department exists, things like that) and get back to us? It would suggest that HW is at least somewhat aware that fiction could become reality, which isn't something I'd been thinking before but could work.

I don't know either, not knowing the program well, but it'd be kind of funny if you could do it.

Would you be against me writing something like "Andorin's Journal"? It could be a little bonus thing that you can pick up throughout the game. I was thinking I would just make a little thread about it somewhere for fun. We'll see how it turns out. I'd rather you just see the creation itself rather than me try to explain it. You can take the idea or leave it. I'll link you to it when it is done.

So, just poking my head in here for an update of sorts, if anyone is interested, plus a question for people, if they're interested.

So anyway, I've done a bit of work on technical things and such, but work will probably be halted completely at this point until after November. But hopefully then I'll put more consistent work into it, and get Leandra to do so too.

The question: So we're thinking about giving each character who ends up being in the party at some point or other a special writing skill that only they get. So I'm wondering if anyone has ideas for what that might be for them. For example, Leandra's character would get the ability to summon Langford, a particular (awesome) character of hers who is a really big, really smart, sword-wielding sort. My character, well, I'm not sure yet, but I might go with something along the lines of 'using the power of Sir Arien, Guy of the Rounded Table', which is a username I had back before they shortened the maximum number of characters because it caused problems with the formatting. Which is really ridiculous skill, but I don't have a better idea. So, anyway...

Is it possible for Milly Manderly to...either shapeshift into Blue Dragon or summon her? (That is, if you're even using my character. XD)

Yeah, that would work quite well. The only problem will to keep Blue Dragon from being too powerful without seeming too weak. I mean, dragon. Ouch. Any preference as to shapeshifting or summoning? I'm not sure it will make much difference, but it will at least change the description.


We haven't decided who will end up in the party yet. But I think we'd like to put as many of the HWers who will show up in it at all in the party as possible, at some point or another. Well, parties, probably... With a few exceptions, such as Neil the Librarian, who is probably much more entertaining just giving random and absurd side-quests, although we still might find a time to put him in for a battle or two...

I don't remember if I have a character in here...

Andorin should have the power of juxtaposition. That is, he should be able to attack the enemies' week points. It doesn't have to be a very powerful attack, just a useful one when there is an enemy with a lot of armor or something of that sort.
Again, this is IF you use Andorin as a party character. I was thinking he was going to be in the library spouting off information to whoever would listen.

Well... I do like shapeshifting better... But either would be accurate.

Ah, okay.

Mine could perhaps be to take a black pot and bash the enemy with said pot (in the process some gold coins could fall out during the attack and the party could gain that money afterwards -- think Meowth). If not that, something else relating to my Leprechaun King status.

Hopefully she's gotten them all, though, because we were basing certain things off of people's rank at the time, and so they might as well all be from the same time.
