Hm.... methinks he mistook you for Varon. Though how that could be, I cannot say.

(Eruheran, I know your true name...)

@Namor: Dang it! Always mix up Seer and Neil of Erk; and Namor and Varon. Too many letters the same I guess. Whoops. :D :D I apologize profusely, Varon. I mean Namor! ;) (Can I have some mashed potatoes?) By the way, Varon is a guy I thought. :D I'm so confused! :D

@Merashath: I wrote that at night--not much of the day left so it made it easily.

@Janin: Just don't do anything about it, OK? :D

That's very possible, now that you mention it. And I'm almost positive that the third is from The Strange Beasts of Eld, although quoted from faulty memory. But the second one might also be from the Prydain Chronicles.

I think this thread should be closed or something...It's way off topic. I feel at home here now!! I don't need to be introduced. And it's embarrassing that my introduction is a popular thread. That shouldn't be!! :) :)

If you really want us to we can. Generally we leave them open and just go on talking.

These threads are kind of like little welcoming parties for new people. You don't just talk about the new person in a welcoming party: you talk about everything that is of interest to the people there. :)

Elanhil is embarrassed that he's popular????

Those are quotes, Eruheran, they don't necessarily make complete sense out of context. :D And I haven't read Eragon!!!!!

STOP CALLING ME MERASHATH!!! Maybe we'd better keep it open until eruheran get's used to calling me Elanhil.

Seriously, Merashath is the devil character. If you're joking, it ain't funny.

These are hilarious! Let's keep up the record!

Um... This doesn't fit, but oh well...

Any guesses? :D

It's sing a song of sixpence. I think it's in french.

Chanter is sing, and six pence obviously can't be translated.
tarte is in the second line, along with quatre which is four. (four and twenty...)

And that's about all I need to translate to know what it is. :D

Happy birthday who? If we make one more page, we beat Knight of Elyon, right? And Elanhil will have the happy knowledge of having the longest introduction thread. :D Until we get off on another tangent on another thread...

I'm almost tempted to make a new introduction thread for myself. I'm getting jealous! (just kidding) :P

I know, I feel the same way. (including the just kidding part.) But you compensate by participating in the grand silly initiation singing party on other people's threads, innocent new comers who don't realize what they're getting in... and it's just as fun. :D

I absolutely LOVED The Sneetches when I was little! I always thought it would be cool to own the guy's machines and put stars on my belly. Good times.... :D

LOL. I love Dr. Seuss. Has anyone else practically memorized Fox in Socks?

I haven't, but I remember when my little brother was about 5, and he "read" Green Eggs And Ham. He had practically memorized it, and the first words out of his mouth were "he don't like his supper". Hysterical laughter ensued after this...

We made page 8!!! Elanhil, you now have the longest introduction thread!!!

"Very well then, let's have a little talk about tweedle beetles."
"What do you know about tweedle beetle?"
"well... when tweedle beetles fight it's called a tweedle beetle battle. When they battle in a puddle it's called a tweedle beetle puddle battle. And when tweedle beetles fight with paddles in a puddle then it's called a tweedle beetle puddle paddle battle."

That's what I say when people tell me I talk fast. :D

 I never thought he'd make it. Yet I look at my Control Panel and see that my most number of posts is in this thread. Kind of embarrassing. :D :D (Off topic, we really should have a big frownie face that would look like this D: just to match the big smiley face: :D

BTW, your tweedle beetle puddle paddle battle has got me all in a fuddle-wuddle. :D

"When Tweedle beetles battle in their bottle puddle battles, and the bottles on a poodle and the poodle's eating noodles this is called a tweedle beetle bottle puddle paddle battle muddle. And..."

Everybody should read that book. :D

It's a Doctor Seuss book, I think. My favorite Doctor Seuss book was always Green Eggs and Ham. Also Put me in the Zoo. :D

Of course it's a Dr. Suess book! It's called Fox in Socks. You should be able to get it from your local library. And when you're done, read this version: http://web.mit.edu/adorai/www/seuss-tec ... iting.html

It's one loooooong tongue twister, is what it is.

"When a fox is in the bottle where the tweedle beetles battle with their paddles in a puddle on a noodle eating poodle, this is what you call a --"

But wait, I don't want to give the ending away!!

Put me in the zoo isn't written by doctor suess. It's one of those books that just has his name on it because it will sell better if it does.
