Boys?! This is not about gender! Greater things are at stake here! The fate of the forum! The Dark Lord will destroy us all! He does not share power with anyone!

*blinks* Who's on who's side, again? I'm still deciding if I should tag along with Kaitianna wherever she may go, or figure out for myself who's side I should be on. :?

Elanhil, Reiyen, and I, along with a secret member among the Marcher Lords, whose identity I will not disclose at the moment, and possibly Lady Esmerelda have allied ourselves against the Dark Lord Lauser and his minions. Namely, Shawn, Jaynin, and Airianna. I beg you, do not ally yourself with the evil, but show that the moderators are for freedom on this forum!

Who said anything about gender? I was only referring to Elanhil, Reiyen, and Griffin in my statement. You all are guys, and you all are a number of years younger than me. Therefore, I referred to you as boys.

Wren, you must support me! *makes very convincing puppy dog eyes that she learned from Lizzie*

I've been silent until now, but I'll side with my Moderator brethren (or sisters). ;) Whichever side holds them holds me! (not that it matters)

Alas, the Dark Lord's powers are strong, and many shall fall to his alliance. Like his Marcher Lords, unfortunately. I fear for Holy World's future . . .

Send forth the red arrow and call for help. Moriel is not yet lost unless she will to be, but knowing her desire for power and her pride in her imagined command of the Purple Thanes, I doubt that she can be won. Indeed, Ciela and Griffin, secrecy is our only hope. We must strike hard and fast. Perhaps help unlooked for shall come out of those with power, but remember, our power base is in those without strength.

Deiki! Deiki the colorless! He may be low in rank, but his power is great. We must gain his friendship.

The strength of our foes, no matter their numbers, cannot match the dedication of our selves and our allies. The winds of the west shall blow the web-snow in their faces, and they shall not see their end until the Dark Admin's ring is in the volcano. Forth the Three Cyberhunters, Reiyen, Elanhil, and Griffin!

We must ally with Lady Esmeralda and Deiki. Perhaps one of thou valiants could secure Melody or Amanda and through them, Deiki. Mayhaps Lady Esmeralda is on our side.

Do you stand against us then, Riniel? Thou and thine blue brethren, and sisters, are the perhaps the most valiant amongst us, for you have for long held the forces of typos at bay. You would be the brightest jewel, the Elessar, in our crown. Join us and the power that has fought against you so long shall be dispersed and cast out to dwell beyond Arda until ambar-metta.

Because we of the Council are the mightiest of the Valar, and thou are but a Maia only, and again not yet the greatest of even that rank, beware! For our power to shape the form of Arda is greater than thine, and may even yet bring about the Ambar-Metta whensoever we desire.

Anyway, it'll be the end of your world, that's for sure!

*cue the evil laughter!* Not that we're evil, or anything.

Did I mention that we could just write Mount Doom out of the forum source code? Don't get to close, or you may be written out as well.

Was not Melkor once among you, and not even Tulkas could drive him from Arda? Indeed, by the power of Sauron and Numenor the Valar were nearly undone, had not Eru saved them. And did not Ungoliant, surely no Vala, sap the wells of Valinor and consume the trees? Did not Feanor defy you in your own chambers, in the Ring of Doom? Be not so proud, you foolish Vala, for Maia have overthrown you many times. Was not the might of the balrogs too great for Ungoliant to stand? By the power of the many was the undoer of trees herself undone! The power of Melkor was outdone by Ungoliant when she desired the great jewels, do not think that our power can be negated simply by the will of the mighty!

The Council! It is they with the power! Seer, Esmeralda, Jaynin, and Neil of Erk! Alas! For it appears two have already been corrupt. Our list of allies grows thin. Who will side with us against the power of the Dark Lord!

Yeah, I wasn't quite sure if the you or Lady Esmeralda was on the council, but when I looked back, it said Lady Esmeralda, but I still wasn't sure if it had changed.

I'm not a council member, Griff, though you are one of many who have assumed I was. So don't feel bad, I correct people a lot on that subject :)

When God takes something from your grasp, he's not punishing you. Instead, He’s opening your hands to receive something better. The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.

And of course, there are those of us who don't even know what it means to be a council member, because we have only been here for fifty days...
and yes, our list of allies does grow thin, but then, our list of enemies isn't that fat either.

No citations necessary, I wrote it myself, crafted from whatever history of Middle-earth I could recall that would support me. There aren't many who match me at Middle-earth savvy, at least not in real life, so I am testing to see who else can keep up with it.

Haha... I know quite a bit about LOTR (well, compared to most people I know, at least), but there's no way I could type something as impressive as that.

Reiyan, you are beyond impressive. I'm going to sit down and start writing sooner or later, and it's either going to be a Moderators Manifest (based on those lovely epics of keeping specific forums safe,) a silly poem, or something I have come up with yet. This is priceless. Specifically "Board of the Rings."

I never realized my defection would lead to anyone else choosing my doomed side, for surely I know that we are doomed. Despite my companions fair words I know too well of the failings of the powers of darkness. Yet my loyalty is pledged to the one you now call the Dark Lord, and my word is not a thing to be bought or sold by sides. Beware, for though my knowledge of Middle-earth is slim I too can make lengthy monologues.

Oh yay, now I have a reputation as the one who knows way too much about Middle-earth. My day is made. :D
As we all can tell, I have no life. However, I must be alive in some form. Therefore, I must be one of the undead soldiers which Aragorn lead out of Dunharrow. Prepare to meet your doom, you Corsairs from Umbar! Help unlooked for is coming from out of the mountains, and my grey companty follows!

Yep. Total fail at being dramatic... XD

Actually Reiyen it was more about writing style than factual/informational content.
That sentence structure was positively lyrical.

Raven (of the Wood)! You must join us! We have no Marcher Lords openly joining our cause! Perhaps if you were to join, no longer would possible allies dabble on the sidelines, afraid to join for fear of failure! I beseech you!

Even Jaynin admits her cause is doomed. You do not have the strength to fight against both Elanhil and Griffin, not to mention me. You must join with us, Raven, you must join with the Alliance.

I openly joined a side... just not your side.

I've often wondered that. And I think that a story of a repentant, reformed orc would be interesting.

Back to discussion: I think I'll just stand on the sidelines like Raven of the Wood, and be amused by everyone's antics.

Our call for aid goes to all who will lend their help to our cause.

Well, there goes Arias. After all, Griffin and I are the only ones militant enough to be hurting people if they are against us, since no action has come againt us we know the Dark Admin's threats are idle. I don't worry. After all, it was two hobbits plus one demented hobbit who undid Sauron. I suppose two HRM and a Moderator (sorry, Griffin) can pull off the same trick.

*was never really deliberating, merely wanted to ascertain the lengths to which the rebel Alliance is willing to go to recruit allies*

I proclaim that my allegiance is given to Sir Emeth, for without his endeavors, none of us would be in this wonderful Holy Worlds land. I will defend my position to the death, and nothing, not promise of reward, nor the threat of torture and death, will induce me to quit my post. You do not think that I have the strength to fight against you, but you forget the power that I hold. With it, I could wipe you from the face of this fair land, were it not against the wishes of my leader, him whom you style the Dark Lord.

I seek to bring the rebel Griffin's attention to the fact that while he may consider himself able to protect his scrolls, I have yet greater control over them, and am well able to do them ill if I so wish.
