As some of you may have noticed, I have been somewhat absent from the forums. This is due to my health having worsened considerably - as in, extremely so.

The problem appears to be a pretty simple one; a sinus infection or something. If I don't get much better very soon, I'll have to go to the doctor, which wouldn't be fun (being dizzy+going somewhere=bad); nonetheless, it would probably fix the problem. At least, fix what's making me so incredibly worse.

Until my health improves, then, I won't be around much. So, hopefully I'll be better in a week or less (probably will have to get antibiotics or something). Prayers appreciated - thanks to all those who have and will be.

Update: Went to the doctor today, and he prescribed me some antibiotics. As we suspected, I have major sinus congestion. I should be much better in a week or less, then.

How are things going, Joel?

The same...Somewhat worse, actually. Antibiotics didn't help, which isn't surprising, as I learned that most sinus infections are caused by viruses, and not by bacteria (and, of course, antibiotics can't help with that). So, why the doctor didn't even mention that, I don't know.

It appears all the antibiotics did was give me false hope and make me more discouraged. Not the fault of the medicine...just a bad prescription.

So, it will probably be at least a week or two before I'll be back. Hopefully sooner. If I'm not significantly better/well soon (and that would take a miracle), I'll have to go back to the doctor, which would be awful because of how dizzy I am, and because they probably can't help me, anyway. If it's viral (and I don't doubt that it is), they "might" can soothe the symptoms, but they can't make it go away any faster.

It has been holding on for a long time. Must be a very bad virus.

Yesterday was extremely bad. It was to the point last night that I thought I was losing my mind, and that the emergency room was it. That, or nothing.

However, miraculously, a second later and it would have been too late, it looks like God provided something that works. If I sit on the couch and watch TV, my head reclined back, that allows the sinuses to drain.

It's provided some relief, but not very much yet, unfortunately. Please pray that it continues to work, works better, and clears this awful thing up very soon. These have been probably the worst few weeks of my entire life (and that is saying more than you know), and I need major relief soon. I am exhausted physically, spiritually, emotionally, and mentally. I need healing. Badly.

I memorized these verses a few weeks ago, but didn't pay much attention to the meaning. Then when I was feeling discouraged just a few days ago, I stumbled across them again.

This is no more then a trial, Joel, and it will pass. It has come so your faith will grow that much stronger. Your faith is of greater worth then gold, and it's going to get even better. God will be praised through it all. That I am 100% sure of.

Just a note to show you I care. I'm so sorry you're feeling so bad, Crushmaster. I'll pray that healing comes.

Well, I'd been seeing a little improvement the last few days, but that all went down the drain. I caught a cold that's been going around in our household for weeks (possibly why the sinus infection's been prolonged? Fighting that? I don't know), and I now have a sore throat and low fever on top of the sinus infection and severe dizziness.

In other words: I feel some of the worst I've ever felt in my life. And that is saying a lot.

Please pray. I need healing, relief, desperately, and it's simply not coming for anything.

Thank you so much, everyone. I'll get better eventually - it just...ain't happening yet. This cold's a pretty bad one (I believe it's held onto my mother for about two weeks), and then you throw all the other stuff on it...Yeah, it's been horrid. And it's not getting better, currently. It will, just...not yet.

I'm glad you're not losing sight of the end of that thing even though it's not getting better yet...and as always, I'm still praying, I know what it's like to be sick for horribly long amounts of time.

Yeah, it's awful. My body's hated me since about December of 2009 (or winter of 2009). And I'm sick of it. Unfortunately, rather than getting better, all it's done is continually get worse...

This cold and sinus infection has smacked me down really hard, too, to top it all off. I was already miserable; this just made me even more so. I'm tired, but relief just isn't coming.

Unfortunately, the cold isn't just a cold, it's a pesky one; and, it's not just me, as I mentioned before.

Ugh. I wish I could go sleep for a few weeks and that all of this horrid pain I've endured for three years (almost to the day; my life exploded on April 5th-7th of 2009) now would just go away...But things don't work like that.

Oh, God, please help me.
