Hear ye, Hear ye!

Let it be known that the Admin of these here worlds shall depart on a leadership summit from Wednesday afternoon to Saturday at the same time. During his absence he has given me strict instructions to ensure that the world is neither dropped, nor blown up, nor anything else unpleasant allowed to happen to it that would not be appreciated were he present. So let it be written, so let it be done.

So again, our maturity and ability to care for these fair worlds in Sir Emeth’s absence is being called upon. May we all do our part, and a little extra, to ensure things are in perfect order for his return. Keep his travels in your prayers.

Be careful of your thoughts; guard your mind, for your thoughts become words. Be guarded when you speak, for your words turn into action. Watch what you do, for your actions will become habits. Be wary of your habits, for they become your character. Pray over your character; strive to mold it to the image of Christ, because your character will shape your destiny.

Ideas can germinate from the smallest seeds. Collect those seeds, and let them grow in the back of your mind. You may be surprised by what finally blooms.

When God takes something from your grasp, he's not punishing you. Instead, He’s opening your hands to receive something better. The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.

I wonder why he didn't mention this when I talked to him this morning. :?

Anyway, we'll be just fine. Don't worry! We're big kids, and we can take care of ourselves. :dieshappy:

*raises eyebrows* I would assume that most on here are grown-ups. Those who aren't. . . well, we'll just contain them. *glances at Kaitlyn* ;)

I wouldn't bet on Hannah, and neither would those who know me best :D I will grant it would be quite a battle though, because I know Hannah and I have some similarities that would make the battle quite interesting. But we agreed to disagree, elsewhere. :D

@Camille: *chuckles * I always loved that line ;)

So, Sir Emeth leaves and the Council Members start wondering who'll best who in a struggle of wills. This isn't very reassuring, guys. *counts the days until Saturday* ;)

Anyway, I don't think there'll be much of a difference in the way HWs will run . . . other than the fact that we'll be missing a popular primary color. Anyway, we'll just work hard at our jobs and do what we do. :D

Now we know why Jay said he had to keep his Council from killing each other. Guys, the Council are here to make sure we behave....I think we're gonna have to make sure they behave! Hehe!

Take care Jay, hope you have an encouraging time!

*chuckles * The Council does inspire confidence, because you all know that we are teasing in loving good humor. That's what makes us approachable. We are a strange bunch whose uniqueness is what makes us work.

Did you have to get technical and ruin the joke, Airianna? ;)

Well, Jaynin AND Airianna both know that if they kill someone or otherwise misbehave, they'll have to offer an explanation to me, so I think they'll be fine. ;)

Everybody knows that Marcher Lords (and that includes Council Members) require special watching by the moderators. Their high levels of creativity and authority make them especially vulnerable to strange bouts of insanity, which is what usually leads to the tremendous and incredible ideas they put forth but on occasion can turn to darker thoughts, and contests of wills.

I have no idea how to make pseudo-serious posts more obviously sarcastic. :P
It's in someone's sig that moderators must look after the sanity of their yellow people...

The Alliance would not be so base as to attempt an insurrection while the Dark Lord is away. In fact, we take it as a compliment that he is brushing up on his skills. If and when they strike, the Alliance will come boldly with banners high and shall win by might of arms, not by guile or deceit.

*Surveys siblings with a slightly concerned, questioning air*

*Gives the "you'd better behave" look* (That look, when I mean it, is not disobeyed. Trust me. I've made all sorts of people behave with it, including ones I didn't even know or speak a word to. So take heed.)

*breaks down and grins*

Seriously, y'all, you are a lot of fun. :D

But do behave. Please? :)

I'll be good.

And so will the penguins. So don't chase them!

I am back! And blessed! And buried under a pile of email work to do... so it might be Tuesday before I am able to actually dig into here again. :P

Remember the Q&A about the blue page not taking you to your place in the thread? This thread is giving me serious trouble in that regard. Not once has it taken me to the right spot. And it keeps jumping around too, without reason.

Not sure if that's helpful, but I thought I'd mention it.

Same. It might have something to do with the fact that you can view it from different subforums...

(Also ditto to Vanya. Plus, it keeps insisting there are unread posts.)
