Be careful of your thoughts; guard your mind, for your thoughts become words. Be guarded when you speak, for your words turn into action. Watch what you do, for your actions will become habits. Be wary of your habits, for they become your character. Pray over your character; strive to mold it to the image of Christ, because your character will shape your destiny.

Ideas can germinate from the smallest seeds. Collect those seeds, and let them grow in the back of your mind. You may be surprised by what finally blooms.

When God takes something from your grasp, he's not punishing you. Instead, He’s opening your hands to receive something better. The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.

Well, I had a lot of couch time recently, and couldn’t be on the computer, so this is the result.

Soul Harvest: 424
Apollyon: 397

*cough * I ended up reading even less than I thought I would. Something about trying to finish the second draft of one's book changes all that. :P

Aurelia (Anne Osterlund): 256 (note: I do not recommend Osterlund's other books)
The Ruins of Gorlan (John Flanagan): 272
Pride and Prejudice (Jane Austen): 272
The Inheritance (Louisa May Alcott): 179

End total: 979

*cringes* You all are going to hate me. I originally wasn't going to post these totals and just leave myself out of this. . . but at the nagging of several friends and family members, I have been forced to satisfy them. :) I only recorded the books I read (it took me a while thank you very much) and ignored my school books, Bible Studies and devotional books. I don't need those added into the midst of all of these because I frankly couldn't tell you how much I have read in those. I just know what books I have finished since the start date and that is what I went with. So. . . here it is.

The Hunger Games Trilogy by Suzanne Collins (1175 pages)
Calvin: Institutes of the Christian Religion, Volumes 1 and 2 (1734 pages)
Systematic Theology by Louis Berkhof (784 pages)
Holiness by J.C. Ryle (418 pages)
Doctrine by Mark Discoll and Gerry Breshears (463 pages)
If God is Good by Randy Alcorn (512 pages)
The Cross of Christ by John R.W. Stott (380 pages)
