Is anyone a big fan? My brother and I have spent at least half of our lives quoting AIO. (Okay...that's an exaggeration. But not by much.)

Redemption is to be purchased, to have a price paid. So I was redeemed from my master sin, and from justice, which demanded my death. For He paid the price of sin by becoming sin, and met the demands of justice by dying for us.

For all men have a master. But a man cannot have two masters. For he will love one and hate the other. You cannot serve God and sin. So I die to the old, as He died, and I am resurrected to the new, as He was resurrected.

Yes! I love Adventures in Odyssey! My cousin and I are always quoting something from it.

I'm a big fan, along with all of my sisters.

Is anyone participating in the Act Like Odyssey contest? My sisters and I were going to do Slumber Party, but our parents wouldn't let us have a food fight in the family room. :D

My family has grown up on AIO, and Eugene was one of my heroes (okay not quite, but he was an inspiration).

The books or the music in which we thought the beauty was located will betray us if we trust to them; it was not in them, it only came through them, and what came through them was longing. These things—the beauty, the memory of our own past—are good images of what we really desire; but if they are mistaken for the thing itself they turn into dumb idols, breaking the hearts of their worshippers. For they are not the thing itself; they are only the scent of a flower we have not found, the echo of a tune we have not heard, news from a country we have never yet visited.

All the things that have deeply possessed your soul have been but hints of it—tantalising glimpses, promises never quite fulfilled, echoes that died away just as they caught your ear... We cannot tell each other about it. It is the secret signature of each soul, the incommunicable and unappeasable want . . . which we shall still desire on our deathbeds . . . ~C.S. Lewis

My family used to be pretty faithful followers, then we got behind and couldn't understand what was going on, and kinda lost interest as a family.

What is your favorite episode? Snow Days... I think.

What is your favorite story-arc? (Big or small.) I would probably have to say Novacom.

Who-dare I ask-is your favorite character? Definitely Wooten

Amen!
I like the snort, by the way. Very professional.

What is your favorite episode? Hmm... I like the Top Floor (3-part episode) and the last few episodes in the Novacom saga. And the episodes about the skeleton in Whit's basement. Basically, if there's a parental warning at the beginning, I like it. :D

What is your favorite story-arc? (Big or small.) Probably Eugene's search for his father. I liked the Novacom saga, but I listened to it so many times it wasn't as fun anymore.

Who-dare I ask-is your favorite character? It's a draw between Aubrey, Jason and Whit.

My favorite episode is "Someone to Watch Over Me"

It is so, so, SO encouraging. I just love it.:)

I like pretty much all of the episodes before Album 51 (the new season). Something about the new season just didn't ring true for me.

Listening since I was...um...well, I don't have a specific date. I think I probably would've been four or five. ;)

What is your favorite episode? Don't have one. :) Someone To Watch Over Me is definitely a good one, but I liked Accidental Dilemma, The Search for Whit, The Final Conflict, Malachi's Message, a lot of their mystery/adventure episodes (yes, the ones with parental warnings! LOL).
Someone to Watch Over Me...that has got to be way up on the list. :) Really good episode, I just loved it. :)
Oh, The Other Side of the Glass was funny-cool too. ;D

What is your favorite story-arc? (Big or small.) Novacom or Eugene's dad.

Who-dare I ask-is your favorite character? Well, when I was six, it was Connie. I was convinced I looked like her, and named many of my dolls after her... lol, I was a strange kid. Now I'd have to say Wooton...when he's not being gross, of course. My dad loves Wooton too, even when he's gross. ;) Different personalities... :D

But of course I like many characters. :D

Ah, yes, wasn't Accidental Dilemma the one with Jason and the Whisperer? I liked that one. Especially the ending.

My sisters and I, who are all faithful pre-hiatus listeners, feel the same way. I'm having trouble adjusting to Whit's new voice and most of the new characters are annoying. I wish they hadn't dumped all of the old characters, like Mandy, Trent, Jared (how can they forget Jared!), Liz, Sarah, Alex and others. We only listen to the new episodes to keep up, but we listen to the ones with Paul Herlinger as Whit the most.

Does anybody else have thoughts on album 51?

I think the new episodes are shallower. Take It From The Top has several things that annoy me, but the shallow charries and lessons have to be the things that annoy me the most. Also Odyssey seems much much smaller. All these new charries that we don't know show up and they crop out all the good ones.

What is your favorite episode? Hmmmm, just one episode? It's kind of hard for me to divide them up like that...I usually just pay attention to the stories. I liked Fletcher's Rebellion, though.
What is your favorite story-arc? (Big or small.) It's between Novacom and Dr. Blackgaard. And Eugene's search for his father. So yah, basically the ones with the parental warnings. :)
Who-dare I ask-is your favorite character? Only one? (again?) Well...Jason, or Dr. Blackgaard. Or Liz. I'm a lot like Liz. (bossy, etc :D) It helps that my name is Elizabeth too ;)

What is your favorite episode? Uh, basically one with a parental warning. I like the adventurous ones. :D

What is your favorite story-arc? (Big or small.) Probably the Blaagard Saga. Novacom and Eugene's search for his father are great too.

Who-dare I ask-is your favorite character? Jason. Definitely Jason. Although I get mad when he does something I know will end up really bad... ;)

We quote AIO all the time (much to my mother's consternation...) ;)

Okay, I don't like double posting, but has anyone else listened to The Green Ring Conspiracy? I did recently, and wow.

I'd rank it at least on par with Novacom and the Blaagard Saga; it was incredible. (I was screaming characters' names in suspense :P ) It's probably one of my favorite albums. It was awesome, and totally worth listening to on the computer if you don't have a copy.

And my theory about the Stiletto was right. You won't believe it... :D

I've heard every AIO episode since before it was called Adventures in Odyssey.
I no longer listen to it though since i've heard them all so many times.
(i do keep up with the new seasons when they come out. Though i can't stand the new mister Wittaker.)

What!? There is a new Mr. Whittaker? But that's- that's. That's just so wrong it isn't even right! I can't even collect my thoughts now! That's worse then them having a new Jonathan Park!

He's starting to get into the role now, so his delivery of the character is getting better. That was the big thing for me. The actor is Andre Stojka.

*loves JP too*

ETA: Also, my friend and I share the joint title of AIO nerds. We write our own (fanfic) scripts. ;) Anyone else?

I really, really like all of the Adventures in Odyssey tapes and CDs! I listen to them all the time. :dieshappy: I especially like to listen to Odyssey when I am doing something like drawing or cleaning.
