Greetings,

Gene Wolfe. I read recently that he is considered by some to be the greatest American novelist alive, yet he's never written a best-seller. I've never heard of the guy. Is anyone familiar with his work?

I've heard of him. I've just never read any of his books. However, I think he's more well known as a science fiction author than a fantasy author.
