Hello, my name is Rae. I'm 16 and brand new to this site. I'm so happy I found it and am looking forward to improving my writing, finding out how to put Christian values in it and maybe making a few friends. So yeah this is my hello. :)

Also, if you're wondering about the username it's a character for the current novel I'm writing. :dieshappy:

Thanks, just a quick question. My apologies if this has been asked before, but is there a section for critiquing? Submitting work and critiquing and stuff like that?

There is. It's called the Fireside. It contains places to post stories, poems, and even whole novels.

Here is a link to the rules for posting your work in the Fireside: viewtopic.php?f=19&t=3151

Hello, welcome, greetings, honors to you, Corinthia-heart-Rae! *sprinkles glitter around artistically and steps back to admire the resulting 3D statue of Nim, Bushy's pegasus, with a mini model of Rainbow {sorry Elly, I ran out of glitter!}*

Anyhoo, so, might I ask a few questions? Well... what's your favorite color? Favorite season? Favorite fairy tale/Disney princess {or prince, if you really must...}? Ok, ok, I'll stop there {for now} :D .

*dishes out steaming apple pie... to Jon- "Watch out, though, it's poisonous"*

Um... I didn't say that. Inesdar did. And his statement was directed at Bethany, not you. Up until this incident, your pies were always free from suspicion. ;)

*shakes head at the silliness* Welcome, Corinthia! Are you surviving okay? Let me know if these crazy authors get too weird for you and I'll deal with them. Have a cupcake!

You've absolutely come to the right place! Is "Corinthia Heart" from "A Rose for the Dead," the novel in your signature? I am intrigued by the title. :D Are you going to post a bit of it in the Fireside?

I love your name, Corinthia! So lovely. So, how much have you done with your book?

The Rainbow in the Storm- My Blog

Be careful of your thoughts; guard your mind, for your thoughts become words. Be guarded when you speak, for your words turn into action. Watch what you do, for your actions will become habits. Be wary of your habits, for they become your character. Pray over your character; strive to mold it to the image of Christ, because your character will shape your destiny.

Ideas can germinate from the smallest seeds. Collect those seeds, and let them grow in the back of your mind. You may be surprised by what finally blooms.

When God takes something from your grasp, he's not punishing you. Instead, He’s opening your hands to receive something better. The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.

Works in progress:

The Diegosian Mark, 115,600 words (Preparing for Publication)
The Diegosian Rider, 121,400 words (Finished)
The Diegosian Warrior, 15,000 (In Progress)
