This is my first time to frequent this most miserable of all forums. Important, but miserable nonetheless. *stops derailing topic - well, topic didn't officially begin yet :P *

Anyway, I'm here to announce a most important move for my family. We'll be going on a seven-month trip back to the Sea to Shining Sea {that is to say, US of A}. We're moving in about a week. So either 1. I'll have a lot of extra time as all my books are packed and I'll be on HW constantly, or 2. I'll be far too busy to frequent my lovely computer.

Therefore, this message is basically a warning: I may or may not be on HW too much over the next three-four weeks. And my 7 months, let me just say, will be incredibly action-packed. Seeing relatives, trying to fit in school, spending as much time as possible with my dear friends, and much, much more.

Why the title? Well, while I'm there, I'll be living in five different places. Thus, counting my home here, my journey will be literally a tale of six cities. Also, I'm flying to the Seas via London, and returning via Hong Kong. I will literally travel around the world - there and back again.

However, I do hope to be spared from picking up any invisible rings of power on the way ;) .

Haha. Have a great time on your trip!

Sounds like a trip I'd like to make :P Have loads of fun! And if you find any invisible rings of power, just forward it on to Reiyen - he will need it to finish his rebellion

I don't recall anyone trying to get rid of you... :?

Have fun, collect lots of air plane peanuts, be sure to travel light (extra baggage is sooo expensive now a days), and enjoy visiting family.

Thanks, Airi!

I know, right? Extra baggage... *gags* But y'know, my fam is traveling on special missionary tickets, and we're going the long way around the globe, and we can get three checked items each rather than two! So I'm quite excited. Plus, what's most important, we ascertained that there will be on-demand entertainment on board {my younger siblings were justifiably thrilled}. :D

Get rid of you? Quite the opposite! I saw this thread and when "Nooo! She just got here and she's been so awesome! She can't leave!"

Goodness, you're making me tired just by the description of your trip. I'm not a traveler. ;) Have fun, stay safe, and check in occasionally! :D

Aww!!! It feels *really* good to know I'll be missed even by my online friends who have never met me, and who will continue to be a regular part of my life anyway :D .

Yes, it's *quite* the trip. Yuck. I believe travel time amounts to thirty-two hours  . Plus taxis and driving on either end, and waiting, and all that extra time squeezed in. It ain't my favorite, though it's exciting. It's also exhausting and it's got the perfect ingredients for a bad hair day.

And don't worry, I will definitely be checking in as often as I can! Holy Worlds, you are amazing! I will not forsake you!

Well, now I am *officially* going OFF. I may post once more, but soon, my darling computer will be packed away into the depths of that horrible beast, a box. {actually it'll be in a computer bag, but that would spoil the effect} So goodbye, farewell, God bless, all ye Holy worlders!

Thanks, everyone! Well, I arrived safely in the States, where I'm now freezing in 11-degree weather {Celsius - it's like 50 Farenheit, I think?}, after living a while in the warm, sunny, humid equator. The US seems so foreign! But hopefully I'll adjust soon. Anyway, my family is staying with relatives until next week, so I'll probably be on-and-off for a while yet, but I look forward to actually catching up on the forum. Everything looks splendid!!

I tend to prefer weather in the 70's like it was here today. ^^

Oh, lucky soul, Miri! It was 40s this morning *my tropical soul shivers and withers with cold* . I actually love cold weather, but it's just I'm equipped with sundresses and short-sleeve shirts, without a single coat...and I can't find warm clothes anywhere! Anyway, rant over  . Thanks for the welcome, everyone!

40's are slightly chilly for sundresses and short sleeves. How can you not find warm clothes in the northern states, good gracious??? It was my family who had trouble finding warm clothes in the south!
