Hey all! I'm Keeneye, long time forum-er and longer time writer-(um)er. Was introduced to this forum via a....younger, and not nearly as well run as most, forum called The Underground. I've also been on the Dragons in Our Midst forum.

As for writing, I've been working on a four book series since 4th grade. I've published a book of short stories. Published two poems, two short stories. And I have been invited to submit a novella to Flaming Pen Press.

Aside from all of that formal-ish stuff, lol, I enjoy all sports, all music, play the tenor saxophone, do karate, and more haha.

Let's hope I can manage writing, school, and two forums ;)

Welcome Keeneye! I hope I find the fortitude to withstand your piercing gaze. ;)

For all men have a master. But a man cannot have two masters. For he will love one and hate the other. You cannot serve God and sin. So I die to the old, as He died, and I am resurrected to the new, as He was resurrected.

That's okay...that forum is dead. And close to being buried. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.

Welcome to the site Keeneye!

The Underground is overwhelmingly well ;) The old Door Within forum, however, is crumbling LOL

Welcome Keeneye!

I would suggest checking out the Community Stories and casting your vote there. After that, the General Discussion board is a great place to get to know the users and their quirks (yep, we all have 'em). I like reading through the tips and suggestions and all. The Essence Maps board is another place I love to read in (and hope to post in soon). Ahhhh.... and you should go introduce your Characters in the Character introduction thread which can be found: HERE.

I hope that all your time here will be a blessing to you and that we can aid you in any way in which you could use it. Feel free to ask questions, we'll do our best to answer!

Thanks Lady Shanai (wow I totally used "Shanai" as a character last name :P lol)! I'll get onto it ;)

Heedtheprophecies.com/theunderground
The forum has lots of younger members, like ages 9 and stuff, and it's rather unorganized. But it's fun :) lol

Haha! Are you serious? Where did you get it? I am not sure where I did. I was chatting with Lady Esmerelda who was asking me for names.... that one just popped into my head. I said I would use it here when I registered. Haha. :D

Welcome, Keeneye!

Wow, you've been invited to submit a novella? I'm impressed! :D

Welcome to Holy Worlds Keeneye!

I used to play alto sax! It's been a long time since I've played it though.
Best way to get familiar with the forum is to just go looking around!
Figure out the basic structure and then just make yourself at home.

Glad to have you here.

The books or the music in which we thought the beauty was located will betray us if we trust to them; it was not in them, it only came through them, and what came through them was longing. These things—the beauty, the memory of our own past—are good images of what we really desire; but if they are mistaken for the thing itself they turn into dumb idols, breaking the hearts of their worshippers. For they are not the thing itself; they are only the scent of a flower we have not found, the echo of a tune we have not heard, news from a country we have never yet visited.

All the things that have deeply possessed your soul have been but hints of it—tantalising glimpses, promises never quite fulfilled, echoes that died away just as they caught your ear... We cannot tell each other about it. It is the secret signature of each soul, the incommunicable and unappeasable want . . . which we shall still desire on our deathbeds . . . ~C.S. Lewis
