Ever wanted to turn your book (or most likely a scene from your book) In to a movie???????
I just took a class on writing scripts from a college professor and I am going to offer if anyone wants to make a movie from your book. Send me the part and I will turn it in to a movie script....(This is harder than it seems.)

If you would, or have any questions please pm me

Sounds interesting :)

So is there a lot you have to do other than changing the form of the dialog? And I wasn't sure if you would write out the action and description of the scenes, or how you would do so. I've thought about trying to convert a scene from my story (after editing) to a movie script for the fun of it, but I didn't know if there was a certain process used.

That does sound neat! I don't think I'll do it now, but maybe I'll send you a couple pages later, after lots of editing! ;)

Yeah, you have to do it all in a certain way. And the good thing about it is that if you are going to send me a couple of pages, they don't need to be edited. Because you wouldn't know how undetailed a script is. So if you are going to do it but want to edit it first, don't bother. It just makes my job harder ;) I mean, you can still edit for your book, but it will help me and you if you just send it to me now. (And if you send me something I'll show you how to read it and what everything means  )

That sounds really interesting. I've learned how to write scripts for plays, but I'm guessing there's a difference between play and movie scripts.

Yeah, it is different. Not as much going on as compared to a movie ;)

Really interesting, this is highly creative, Malchus.

I've thought about turning my book into a movie script, but I have no idea how, and it's a long book, so I guess you have the smarter method by using just a small part of the story.

After you create the script, then what do you do with it?

That's hard to turn down, but at least not right now. for the future i'll need to send you a couple notes just in case, like: this scene has a tense and up beat bla bla bla bla. I'll PM you, actually scratch that I think I'll do it, it will only be a short one though so here it is. :)
