Ok here's the deal:
I'm a student at Mid-South Christian College in Memphis, TN. Starting 6pm Central Time (UTC -6) Friday the 11th we will be taking part in a 24/7 prayer chain lifting up the Lord's work among the unreached people groups in the world. We've reached out to students, staff, alumni, and supporters to take up an hour or two or more this coming week to pray. Sadly, we've still got a lot of slots to fill so I'm calling out to any of you Holy Worlders who would be willing to help stand in the gap for those who haven't yet heard the Good News of Christ Jesus. This is not an official HW project and there's no pressure to participate, but we're the largest gathering of believers I'm in regular contact with and I thought I'd at least see if any were willing to lend a knee or two to this.
If you're interested, you can see here a schedule showing who's praying when and what times still need to be filled. If you see an open time slot that you'd like to sign up for, click the button that says "open" on that slot and fill in your information (give a fake name [preferably your HW username so that I can at least know who you are] and phone-number if you're uncomfortable sharing them online), then click the "I'll do it" button on the bottom. Right now the real trouble spots are towards the afternoons and early evenings when students and faculty have classes and other adults have other stuff. It would be great if we could find some homeschoolers willing to help fill those slots.

Now for a more personal request. I've signed up to pray from 2-3 almost every morning (Central Time). Because I don't trust myself going to bed at a normal hour and waking up at 2 and I can't set an alarm for 2am because of other dorm-dwellers, I've decided my best course of action is to stay up till 2 and then pray till 3. So if any of you are night owls or live on the other side of the world *cough*Jay*cough*, then I'd appreciate your maybe coming online to chat with me for a little while before my prayer hour to help me stay awake. I understand that probably most of you won't be able to help with this (so I'll plenty of time to do homework, art, and reading), but I'd appreciate any of you that would.

Those are my requests. Think over them. Pray over them. And let me know what ye think. But I do ask a little haste on the first request since we start 6pm Central Time (UTC -6) TOMORROW! I would be just tickled to death to see us fill most if not all of the empty slots

Hey y'all, I just wanted to encourage you to still sign up for some time. There's still empty slots, mainly in the afternoon. Praying for entire hour seems really hard, but just...pray your heart. Talk to God as if he's a person sitting in the room. Talk out loud and pray scripture. You can do it!

That's perfectly ok. I just know that some members are very wary of sharing their real name online so I gave that option.
