Hello, my name is Lady Ellen. :) My more commonly used name is Kristin Ellen, or Kristin Carr. I first heard about Holy Words through the Rebelution Forums (where I am working as a moderator). I am quite thrilled to now be a part of Holy Words! My decision to join Holy Words was very much influenced by my best friend and dear sister, Hannah Marie. Or as you all know and love her as: Lady Esmeralda. I love Christian fantasy, hence the reason (or, rather, one of the reasons) why I joined Holy Words!

There are a lot of things a person could know about me, but the most important thing that a person could know about me is this: I am a young woman who is in love with my Savior, Jesus Christ. He is the Love of my life. The overall desire of my life is to serve Him, to love Him with my whole heart, and do everything for His complete and total glory. Without Him, my life would mean nothing. Without Him, I am nothing. There are so many passions that God has laid on my heart to pursue. He has given me a passion to reach out to young ladies of all ages; He has given me a passion to help those who live in poverty; He has given me a passion to be a light in this dark world. I plan to pursue all of these passions for His glory. I love to spend time in God's Word, pray, go on long walks, read, write, sing, listen to music, play the guitar (and just about every kind of musical instrument I lay my hands on). I am currently working on graduating from High School, and plan to pursue counseling in college. It is my prayer that with the knowledge I obtain from pursuing counseling, I may be better equipped to help show young ladies the True Love that is found in Christ Jesus, whether that be in my own country or in another. It is my prayer that whatever I do in life, and whatever there is to know about me, may be a reflection of my Savior!

Dear Lady Ellen,

We are very happy to have you on board. I got an 'activate user account' e-mail today for the Sci-Fi Forum, so I'll look forward to seeing your work on both forums.

May the Lord bless your writing. I hope you enjoy your time among all of us crazy author types. I'm sure you will fit right in.

The Rainbow in the Storm- My Blog

Be careful of your thoughts; guard your mind, for your thoughts become words. Be guarded when you speak, for your words turn into action. Watch what you do, for your actions will become habits. Be wary of your habits, for they become your character. Pray over your character; strive to mold it to the image of Christ, because your character will shape your destiny.

Ideas can germinate from the smallest seeds. Collect those seeds, and let them grow in the back of your mind. You may be surprised by what finally blooms.

When God takes something from your grasp, he's not punishing you. Instead, He’s opening your hands to receive something better. The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.

Works in progress:

The Diegosian Mark, 115,600 words (Preparing for Publication)
The Diegosian Rider, 121,400 words (Finished)
The Diegosian Warrior, 15,000 (In Progress)

Welcome, Lady Ellen! Have fun on this hopefully helpful forum of mildly strange (OK, more than mildly) authors!

(By the way, Ellen and Esmeralda...sounds like a singing group ;))

Welcome, Ellen! It's nice to have another crazy author here. And if you're not crazy, don't worry. We'll fix that soon enough. :D

Thank you, Eruheran! Now that you mention it, Ellen and Esmeralda does indeed sound like a singing group, haha. That is quite ammusing! As I previously said in reply to Airianna Valenshia, I have been enjoying reading everyone's posts on here! I do not consider you all "strange" (or even "mildly strange" ;)) at all!

Elanhil wrote:

Thank you, Elanhil! Well, it depends entirely on how you define "crazy"! I have been told by quite a few people that I am indeed "crazy", but by others, that I am not (which probably means those people are crazy, as well, and can't tell the difference, haha ;)).

The welcomes received from every one of you was truly a blessing, and has made me feel right at home! I look forward to (Lord-willing) getting to know all of you better!

Just kidding. Although I still think we're strange. You do remind me of Hannah quite a bit though... :D

Thank you, Carissa! Really, Carissa and Katie, I don't think ya'll are odd or crazy. Though, in my saying that, it probably just implies that I'm crazy, because I cannot tell who those are that (apparently :P) are crazy. ;)

Hahaha, I didn't think about the whole... different name thing. What's worse is that it took me at least ten whole minutes to figure out who you were. *slaps self* Then the name Ellen finally registered in that thick skull of mine and I realized who you were, hehe. ;)

*laughs* Well, it took me a bit longer than 10 minutes to figure out who you were! When you welcomed me on here, I thought to myself, "Okay. The way that she said that really sounded like she knew me already. Who in the world is that?" I had an idea that it was you, but wasn't sure. So, what I did, haha, was go over to the Sci-Fi forum. . .as I had just realized that you were newly added over there. I went to your profile on there, and saw what your Fantasy name was (all of which took me at least a good 15 minutes or longer). So, anyways, there's my story! ;)
