Be careful of your thoughts; guard your mind, for your thoughts become words. Be guarded when you speak, for your words turn into action. Watch what you do, for your actions will become habits. Be wary of your habits, for they become your character. Pray over your character; strive to mold it to the image of Christ, because your character will shape your destiny.

Ideas can germinate from the smallest seeds. Collect those seeds, and let them grow in the back of your mind. You may be surprised by what finally blooms.

When God takes something from your grasp, he's not punishing you. Instead, He’s opening your hands to receive something better. The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.

Works in progress:

The Diegosian Mark, 115,600 words (Preparing for Publication)
The Diegosian Rider, 121,400 words (Finished)
The Diegosian Warrior, 15,000 (In Progress)

LOL. I mean, I don't suffer from this, being coldblooded myself, but... ;)

I know this thread is old now, but I decided to reply anyways.

I LOVE LotR! It's the best fantasy I have ever read (besides Narnia). I read the books this year for the first time and then watched the movies. It's a family rule. You can't watch the movies until you've read the trilogy. :D I will probably read them again next year... and then the year after that and the year after that. ;)

I have read The Hobbit and the trilogy, and plan on reading all of the other Tolkien books Eve has on her shelf. :D I have seen all of the (film, not cartoons) movies and I really want to go see the next Hobbit movie in theaters with my friend. :)

I think I would be considered a big fan or an almost super fan. I like to walk around the house with a cloak on and I love wearing my greenish coloured rain coat outside when it's raining... ;) Sometimes when I'm riding my horse I pretend I have a Black Rider chasing me... yeah, I know I'm strange. I think Shiloh likes galloping away from imaginary creatures though. :D

Yes, it is! :D Even though they changed a few things, I still enjoyed the movies as much as the books. If you watch the making of stuff (like the script writing) it's easier to understand why they left out Tom Bombadil and stuff like that. :)

It's safe to say Tolkien is my favorite author (Well, him and C.S. Lewis, but let's not get into that debate right now... It depends on my mood, I think.).

Read the trilogy, the Hobbit (did anyone else take the time to decipher the runes just to read the runic title and the map?), the Silmarillion, Children of Hurin, sever Lost Tales volumes (a while ago though, and I think most of it is just repeated later in CoH and SIL...), Farmer Giles, Smith (which I much preffered of the two), and am looking for more books.

Started learning Quenyan, but had to learn Spanish for school. *pouts* Quenyan is more interesting anyway... *grins* actually started researching Norse legends to...

And watched all of PJ's movies and (amazingly) did NOT want to kill him for going pretty far off story in parts.

But the best thing of all of this? Two presents I got: Unexpected Journey, and The Hobbit Map.

My brother still claims I broke the sound barrier and shattered the windows...
