Haha this thread is amazing! I can't wait until I get a chance to hear all the recordings

My British sister has a beautiful voice. <3 And a friend of mine who used to live where her and my parents grew up has even more of an accent than I do, it's funny to hear her claim she doesn't have one.
Mine... depends on the day and my mood/energy. Most days I'm not too bad, I run some words together and don't talk really clear, but I wouldn't call it an accent. Other than a few words I grew up hearing pronounced funny, like "holler" instead of "hollow" --I literally cannot call it a hollow, it sounds funny-- or "awalago" instead of "a while ago" --at least, I assume that's what it's supposed to be

I always type "earlier" because I have no clue how to spell it, and "a while ago" looks wrong.
However, if I get tired and/or too hyped up on caffeine, or I go down home to visit family (I mean... instantly), or I've noticed when I get too smart-aleck or excited at work... I can get a pretty interesting accent. I guess it's southern, that'd be my closest guess. Partly I think I just string my words together even more than usual.
My singing voice is less obvious, but I guess y'all can try my Youtube channel if you want to hear it. I'll have to make a recording of my talking this weekend
