Thought I saw some pretty hilarious stories floating out there that stem from our fantasy obsession...post some here!


I had one, really I did...

Lol. Alright, I have one!:)

We were at a church potluck and I was sitting all by myself since my friends had gone up to get their food. And I was thinking about a scene with the villain in my story. (when I think really hard, I space out and my face does very strange things)

when I 'came to' everyone at the next table was staring at me. Apparently I'd been glaring, and making weird face at them. It was so humiliating...lol! But now I can laugh about it. Mostly...

OK here's the one that escaped me earlier.

My Mom has a tendency to get REALLY involved when we talk about my characters, plot twists, etc. (She's begged me numerous times to write faster) Once we were talking about something story-related, and she suddenly bursts out laughing and says:
"You have that look on your face again!"
Me: *totally bewildered.* "What look??"
Her: "That look that says; 'Wow. She's totally insane, and talking about these people like they were real or something!' "
