I'm in college. *bangs head*. I'm majoring in "Communication Sciences and Disorders" with an emphasis in Speech Language Pathology. For the uninitiated, that means I want to be a speech therapist.

How are y'all doing in college? What classes are you taking, for example?

Me:

Deaf Studies (fun)

Basic Sign 1 (fun)

Allied Health (more socializing than learning)

Psychology (not fun)

History (semi-fun)

Biology (my dreaded nemesis)

That's 16 credits total (not fun).

I'm in college, so to speak, but am taking the semester off and will (hopefully!) start up again in the spring. My major is graphic design which is fun.

Somehow I ended up with 19 hours each semester last year. *gulp* Busyness.

I'm taking a semester off. But I've been in college for the past four years and generally take about 12-14 hours a semester.

Eh, yes to Aristotle (I wish more people understood what we mean when we say "Aristotlean logic") but Plato is more of a "meh", especially when you consider that he basically thought Rationals should rule the rest of the world, and that government could pretty much do as it pleased.

Rational is a personality type which Aristotle first postulated. He also said there were Guardians, Idealists, and Artisans (now y'all now where Myers-Briggs started). He said that Rationals, who generally became the scientist and philosophers, should rule over everyone else.

I took a year off after high school, so this is my first semester in college. I'm attending a local community college part time (just to dip my toes in the water). I will major in an Administrative Assistant diploma which will then end my college life.

The classes I am taking are:

Keyboarding (online) 2 credits.
Internet Applications (online) 2 credits.
English-Grammar for Careers (in class) 3 credits.
Computer Basics (in class) 1 credit.

That's a total 8 credits.

I don't know if I'll go full time or not due to keeping a strict balance I have to keep between homework and school. For now, I am enjoying my classes and was able to complete all my homework from last week! :D

I'm in my first formal year of college, but I did a ton of dual-enrollment in highschool.
I have Biology (dislike)
Accounting (interesting but difficult)
The Honors Program at my school (very neat)
Spiritual Formation (very neat)
and Physical Activity and the Christian Life (too much work for such a simple thing)
Total of 16.5 credits/hours.

I'm in college! My major is Pastoral Ministry, and I'm only taking twelve credits as this is my first semester, and nothing else fit with my schedule.

I'm taking

Old Testament Survey (awesome)
Heart and Art of Worship (fun)
Character Formation (hard, but fun)
Spiritual Transformation (interesting to say the least)

What "only"? Where I'm going to school 12 is full-time...

Yes, it's full time here too, but it's the minimum full time. I wanted to take 15 credits...

I'm not! I'm putting in a ridiculous amount of schoolwork this semester, but I'm not in college. So I'll just sit here and watch you, because you seem to be having so much fun.

Hopefully I'm starting college in the spring :D Just going to go to the community college for the first couple years, since it's a lot cheaper.

Is psychology really that bad? I was thinking about trying to take it as an elective or something eventually, I thought it would be interesting. My mom didn't seem to like that class either.

My advice is, unless you want to be a psychologist, or are in a psychology related field (like me), don't take the class. It's mostly stupid, while the rare moments of intellegence are relegated to "unconventional theories".

I'm majoring in Elementary Education.

This semester I'm taking through CLEP and online courses:
US History I and II (Will you hit me over the head if I say it's not fun? In my defense, I don't think Canada's history is fun either)
Introduction to Sociology (very frustratingly not fun)
Developmental Psychology (ehhh, okay. Somewhat interesting)
Ancient Civilizations (fun ^_^)

I graduated from college in 2009, but I'm now going back to school to fill in some gaps in my knowledge (areas I deliberately skipped the first time through, partly because they didn't look interesting and partly because, after joining the department a year later than my peers, I had to scramble to graduate on time). This semester I'm taking two courses, UNIX/Linux system administration and Scripting.
