Sorry, Neil... couldn't resist stealing your title. ;)

Who's preparing for college this year? I'm right smack in the middle of applying for a bunch of colleges and scholarships... and I'm finding out just how difficult it is trying to decide what I want to do for the rest of my life!

Anyway, what colleges are you guys looking at, and what majors? I keep waffling between studying music at Florida State or English/Writing/Journalism at a smaller Christian school. Some of the different colleges I'm thinking about are Wheaton (the one in Chicago), Covenant, Samford, Stetson, University of North Florida, and Florida State. (In case you can't tell, non-decisive me is having issues deciding where I want to go. ;) )

What about y'all?

I'm talking to a college now that I might start up with in the spring. I wanted to this fall but finances did not allow for such a thing.

I'm studying theology.

No problem. Just be careful with your head.

Just a tip, don't major in English and minor in Music. A minor of Music at most colleges is roughly the same as a major in something else, and English with a writing or journalism emphasis is probably going to be pretty time consuming in terms of papers and written assignments. (I am saying this based on the advice of my friends, not on personal experience.)

Redemption is to be purchased, to have a price paid. So I was redeemed from my master sin, and from justice, which demanded my death. For He paid the price of sin by becoming sin, and met the demands of justice by dying for us.

For all men have a master. But a man cannot have two masters. For he will love one and hate the other. You cannot serve God and sin. So I die to the old, as He died, and I am resurrected to the new, as He was resurrected.

Note: Ebed is Hebrew for bondsman, Eleutheros is Greek for unrestrained (not a slave).
