You know, I was thinking recently about how much God cares for us. We can be faithless, but He is always faithful. We might have a day where we think we don't have time for Him, but He always has time for us. He never stops caring, He never stops loving us. It hit me today, just how much I need Him. I can't live without my Saviour, and I realised how much He cares for me. How precious is that!

Once I was having a problem - it would seem a small problem to some people but it was not a small problem to me - on the computer. It was dragging me down, and I couldn't cope with it. Anyway, I prayed about it, and I said in the end, God I can't cope with this, it's upsetting me I need you to do something about it since I clearly can't. Anyway, the next minute my computer crashed. I thought, Oh dear, this is what He decided to do. Well, I'll, accept that then. However, the computer restarted. Things went well for a couple of weeks, and then one night this thought popped into my head, and low and behold the computer crashed again. A blue screen popped up saying, Sorry, a problem has occured. You're computer has crashed. Anyway, it fixed my problem, and my computer has never crashed in such a way since, and it had never done that before. God fixed my problem - I just felt overwhelmed. He realised I needed help, and He gave it me. Isn't He wonderful? He really cares. My problem may have seemed small and insignificant to some people, but it wasn't small to me, so it wasn't small to God. He cares for us, in every way, the big things and the small things.

Anyway, I've just been praising Him today, and I decided to share this with you all. It encourages me to think how God can work and does work in our lives, I hope it encourages you as well.

I remember one time I was struggling with His plan for me, and I was walking outside late struggling with it while the other kids were putting away the groceries. Later, I was just wandering around and I randomly went over to the guesthouse and looked in our extra refrigerator (I don't even remember if I had a reason for this), and I found some boxed food that was supposed to go in the freezer, and it would have been ruined the next day if I hadn't found it then.

It was such a tiny thing, but in that moment it hit me really hard. God cared about us having that food and saving that money, and had me go over there and find it. If He takes the time to guide even such a little thing... how about our whole lives?

Sometimes you just need the little things, don't you. And even if other people would think, that's only small, to you it might be massive. I think it encourages you in your faith, you know? God is soo good.

Awesome thread, Elanor! I also have personal experience of God's providence for things that "aren't important." A year or so ago, we had a really old tv (we use our tv only for videos and video games) and it's color was all messed up, which was super annoying whether you're trying to watch a cartoon and it's fuzzy or you're trying to play Mario and it's bland-looking...Anyway I'd been saying for awhile that I wished that we could somehow get a new tv, and (I think I'm not exaggerating here) I had just mentioned it again when we turned it on for something that my Uncle called and said "hey, there's this big tv on the side of the road with a 'free' sign on it...do you want it?"

Needless to say...we were very grateful.

This thread is also encouraging in light of what's been going on in my life more recently, thank you very much Elanor for starting this.

Personally, I feel that God caring for the small things, shows us how big his care is. If that makes any sense...
