Yes, my shoulder blade. I make it stick out of my back, and stick it through the little handle, than walk side-ways until the door is fully opened. Then I have to move very quickly to get my foot in front of the door, to keep it from closing. But my hands stay clean!

I just wrap my hand in my shirt or something so that I don't touch the door... and it doesn't look so silly. :P

@Elanhil and eruheran: I'm glad I'm not the only freak who doesn't want to touch door knobs and handles after washing my hands! XD

Yeah, I guess I'm randomly ambidextrous. I tend to use whatever hand is most useful to me at the time, or depending on the situation, I use whatever hand is strongest in that field. (Such as throwing a ball. I will only use my right hand. Left handed throw = fail.)

After I've played guitar for a year, my left hand is now stronger than my right... It's confusing.

I write with my right hand, but I can do a lot of random things with my left. Like I usually open doors with my left, etc. I can't think of anything else, because I don't really pay attention, but I know there are others.

I'm right hand dominant, right ear dominant, left ear dominate, and left leg dominant.

Your...shoulder blade? o.O Wow. I'm impressed. (And I think that's pretty much impossible for us girls to do... :P)

I've been playing guitar for 3+ years. My left hand is stronger too. ;)

I am a Righty, even though I can write and do everything else left handed. Most people don't realize I'm switching hands while I work, chisels, knives, pencils and even forks. My Aunt was truly Ambidextrous, she had to (legally) sign all her checks with both hands because they were each totally different. She could write two different letters (to two different people) at the same time! Yes I watched her do it once. A very creative lady that I do miss.

Actually, I don't have much problem with opening doors, even with shoes on. I almost always wear Airwalks, and although there's almost no traction, the shoes are flexible enough to get around the knob enough to turn it. I'm sure the lack of support in the shoes is great for my back though...

That's weird... I don't use a knife enough to remember for sure, but I'm pretty sure I just keep my fork in my left hand until done with the knife.

Oh wow... that's quite the feat.

My mom always makes sure to use a napkin or something, but I'm the weirdo in my family who ignores being told to do that, and I just open doors properly.

I guess I'm not entirely right-handed... I can do most things with my left hand as needed, just not as well.

I'm right-handed, but the other day I found out I write like a lefty! :o It apparently has something to do with the way I turn my hand. Who knew? :D

My mom will like you even more, Bush, now that she knows you're left-handed. ;)

My mom is left-handed... us kids were originally all right, but my sister Hope was told she needed to switch to help with some problems, so she did, and is now left-handed.

I am right-handed but left-eye dominant, which is never a problem except in trying to aim. ;) I have to crane my neck around and look with my left eye while shooting/throwing with my right hand....

What, our stunning personalities and our highly creative talents didn't give the fact away? :dieshappy: *cough* ;)

I think I am both left-handed and left-eyed, since I aim using my left eye.

Yeah, everyone ought to know we are lefties because you can see that the letters on the left side of the standard keyboard such as ASDFCXZD and so on are darker due to more pressure on the key. :dieshappy:

I used to be Ambidextrous, but my third grade teacher wouldn't allow me to write with both hands. I spent the rest of the year writing with my right hand and I soon realized I had lost my ability to write with both hands.

Aww, that's sad, Mist. :(

I've considered teaching myself to write left-handed, but it's too painfully messy and slow. :P

I'm right-handed. I think I'm Ambidextrous in feet, though. Probably from figure skating. I can't really tell which is dominant. And definitely right-eyed. For the longest time I could only wink my left eye, because I had to keep my right open. My left eye is also worse, so my contact lenses are different to even it out.

Haha! I've tried that too Milly. ;)

I can wink with both eyes, and I have perfect eyesight in both as well. :dieshappy: Feet, I'm not sure... I usually lean on my right foot so...

Not just you. ;) :D I have a question, to ambidextrous people: When it comes to just holding something, say a water bottle, what do you prefer? Are either of your hands stronger, and does your opposite handwriting look terrible, like mine? :P

Handwriting with either hand is terrible. And I've always written mostly with my right, so I'm not as quick with my left. But the strength is pretty equal (pianist fingers) and I can easily do just about anything with either hand.

By the way...yes, I'm ambidextrous. I also have bilateral dominance...neither 'right-brained' nor 'left-brained', but some wacky paradoxical combination of both. Although there's more research now showing that there isn't really any separation of brain halves. Your brain is much more complicated than that. :P

My brother Stephen is left handed and he's the incredible artist. I've known a lot of left handed artists. My father is left handed (but not an artist), and my mother is right handed, and it's hard to tell but seems that about half of the kids are either left handed or ambidextrous, and the other half are right handed.

We seem to have a lot of strong genes. :P My brothers are really athletic (Stephen recently ran 11-12 miles in 80 minutes, Jacob can easily ride his bike 36 miles in an afternoon), I'm huge (hehe), my three year old sister is currently learning to read (at her own insistence), and everybody seems to have some sort of artistic inclination. If you averaged both my parents' high school GPAs together, the result is still more than 3.9. My parents are smart people.
